Letting the crew know I reckon the shocking winter could be over! Water still cool on the bay & not too many others on the water but wind has been good. Have scored 3-4 late sails over the last few weeks capped off with a blast on my new 4.5 yesterday before the storm pushed through. See ya at the beach lads!
A couple of hours yesterday afternoon ENE, 6m+100L board and stronger than it looked from the beach. Clear skies, water warming up... good sailing weather starting to roll through.
Qld needs daylight savings... for the alignment of regional business requirements!
Good to hear you have been scoring mate! Don't start me on daylight savings, so good in NZ last week being able to sail after work. Looking good for s dailycrossword.onl/usa-today/ mailsafe.onl/protonmail/ ail this arvo...
there is still no wind (need to fix the rattle in the windows, its quite loud)
Had a good run last week Brent. Finally used a 5.3 Blade for the first time. Very light in powered up conditions.
Summer north easterlies kicked hard on the peninsula this weekend. 4.5 Sat arvo then a Sunday of madness with 4.0. hope everyone got some fun, a cracking weekend!
Had my annual sailboard session on Saturday, almost killed me. So o much more exhausting than a kite. Queens at its best.
When I lived in Scarborough the late November/ early December big sea breezes were some of the best sailing days ever. Glad to hear big sessions were had! Bring on a few more!!
Howling session late yesterday at Queens, 40 knot gusts, big swells out the back, too much for my 4.2m. Whoa, such fun. Don't know how Brent lasted 1.5 hours in those conditions.

You know me Doc. Strict diet, regimented training but most importantly blissful disrespect for my general safety or well-being when its over 25knts
So nice to have been blasting around and cooling off over the last few days. Great to see some new faces out sailing too. A few more days to be had according to the forecast
Last few days felt like cyclone season, a good blast yesterday with 4.5. even got to swim after my gear as it blew down wind. Haven't tried that move in years
Although I was on my foil it was great, nice waves rolling in.
Hey airsail was that on your foil kite or have you made the sensible move back to windsurfing
Good numbers again at Queen's, going to need more parking spots on weekends!
Yeah, I had to park next to the stinky rubbish bins...shows where I am in the pecking order...
