Who's up for a practice session at RQ this Sunday? Meet at 1pm. Followed by beers at the bar after.
...If we ask nicely Richiefish will shout...
Do you know you have to have a member sign you in now
Or, be there for a regatta. And yeah, my shout !(for the first round)
Hey guys,
I remember seeing something a while ago about lending your gear (particularly board) to competitors but can't seem to find it in the forums to check.
Can anyone let me know about this? I would probably be ok for someone to use my board if that's the case?
Hi AntsC
I put a post up a while ago asking about potential charter boards, so far I haven't heard of anyone looking for one, I think there are a few Starboard 295,s available for charter as well. Thanks for the offer if anyone asks I will point them in your direction. Or enter it yourself, guaranteed to meet lots of people, learn heaps and have fun.

Thanks Cameron. I'd be keen to give it a go, but still not overly confident that far out in the bay, Lots of progress to do but we'll get there. I'll be out there on Saturday arvo for a sail.
Living up to your reputation on the weekend Maverick, sailing around backwards with your fin in the air!!
Too true Charlotte. These days you can't even perform a simple stalled (maybe slightly backwards) wingover without a bloody Mig approaching at supersonic.
Picture 2....Leo is OCS!
I'm with you tribey, but he denied it (funny that)
Hey pommy
Big difference between OCS
and a perfect start.
I agree mate, a very fine line,
but that line you could drive a backhoe through....
you my friend... are pinged...round you go!
Complete your on-line entry by 17 January 2015. www.rqys.com.au/marine-sports-amenity-building-now-operating/ Late entries may be accepted until 24 January 2015, but will incur a late entry fee.
early forecasts indicating some of the lightweights might have to smash a few meat pies before next weekend.
There's seems to be a hiccup with updating the online NOR, but 3 sails will be allowed (not 2).
So we might see a few "Barque" rigs racing ?........
The Sailing Instructions are now up on the RQ website. The course will most likely be set in the Southern end of Waterloo Bay.
I've arranged a jockey to ride my star horse for the weekend and will be drinking coronas from where I'd rather be!
I have to say it was pretty impressive seeing 20 odd sails out on the bay! Just wish I had some binoculars to watch a bit closer
I might have to make it a goal to give next years nationals a go.
