East Beach is at Low head. Drive straight past the bellbouy turn off and continue into Low head. It's on Gunns parade. We will be set up in the park near the toilets

Looks like you had plenty of wind after midday. There will be a few sore bodies tomorrow

Bucket loads of wind. The sun came out and it was a great starting event. I have loads of fabulous photos but it may take an hour or two to make the selection to post. Also have the votes to count and will announce our place getters when I post the pics.

Bucket loads of wind indeed. Steady 30-40 knots most of time and a solid swell. 11 sailors on the water- seeing how long the arms would hold out. Jason made it look easy for over 2 hours, while others (like myself) gave up after a much shorter time.

Good day all round. Sun and cupcakes too.

Results are added up.
First 6 places for men
1st Jason
2nd Alan
3rd Greene
4th Geoff
5th Luka
6th Paul Tenteye
Women
1st Kazza
2nd Gill

The day started out with 35 knot North westerly winds, heavy cloud cover and a chill factor on BOM of minus 2, but as can be seen from the photos the sun came out, we warmed up a bit and the wind kept blowing, reaching 44 knots at times.

It was ballistic today! Sooo Impressed to see you and Gill head out in that ANGRY water! Full on! Well done Smithy! You make gales look like 5.0m days. Thanks Cookie and Gill and El Capitan Clarence for round 1

Well done Kazz and Jason.
Jason those winter SUP sessions in the surf definitely keep your sailing fitness up.
Have fun supping all winter and no downtime when the big blows come early in spring
