Whoever it was had better make amends. We have been watching system after system after system slip past with nothing, or hit the north coast on the only days that absolutely everyone has to work.
Another very promising weekend has just gone to poo.
There is clearly intent in this - Huey is evidently peeved. I don't want to rake over the coals of who did what, to whom, and when. I just want this sorted out - clearly we need a sacrifice.
I am thinking someone old and useless but I just can't come up with any names - any ideas?
Only 7 more sleeps ,it usually blows its tits off the first day of Agfest
(Ant forget the tractor shopping Low head will be on)
Its been a little light....cant argue with that.....but this idea that we should start sacrificing the elderly.....well that would require a committee to sort out or at least some sort of quasi judicial body....and probably lots of paperwork....and a fire permit....not that I have given it any thought.
Light winds are good for some folks...this Tasmanian body boarding video is super cool.
I'm still a young fella ya can't blame me............ however............summer down South was one if the windiest ever or so they say.............. They also told me as soon as I took the cast off my leg the wind would stop......... sh.t that's exactly what happened apart from one day at low head it's barely hit 10 knots........... So one could ague that it's all my fault but like I said I'm a young fella so I'm off the hook.......... maybe it's Greenie as all the piss and wind that exhausts from his gob when he attempts a loop (note attempts) has used up Huey's quota of wind for the season......... So Greenie if you just shut up and looped instead of ranting and raving Huey might just let a bit more wind out of the bag.
Bloody egg farmer!! Well with all the wind on its way, seems Huey has forgiven who ever created this drought. North coast will be pumping all week!! And as for you little angry egg farmer, go lay an egg!!!!
Just looked at the latest forecast on MSW and Tuesday would be ok but Wednesday would be my pick for Bell Buoy Damo!
Hate to say I told you so , but still remember being hit in the head by a flying sign at Agfest a couple years ago (45knots for two days )
Could explain a lot !
ok. thanks guys,
will look at Wednesday perhaps .
unless there is actually a good sail dowN here in the surf.
Bom report for Tuesday....setting the tone for the next week!!! Haven't seen 4-6m seas on the north coast for a long time. Wednesday hopefully should EASE to 30 knots
Tuesday 5 MayWindsNorth to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots tending west to northwesterly 30 to 40 knots during the morning.Seas2 to 3 metres, increasing to 4 to 6 metres during the morning.SwellWesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the morning.WeatherCloudy. 90% chance of rain.
I don't want to jinx anything but ……….. there are constant westerlies forecast from Tuesday through to the following Wednesday!!
Not much uni work is going to get done by us eh Felix?
Agree Mitch man. Uni wasn't yesterday for me but I feel a really bad cough coming on. In fact I might need to take the week off!! Now where is that egg farmer? Here chook! Chook! Chook!
Feeding the chooks as usual
Legs like a chicken , heart of a Rooster, strength of a lettuce he will head to BOL by himself and survive 6m waves must be the luckiest person alive
Head like an egg to take on Bol alown. But I forgive you chicken man and you are welcome back to Bell Buoy. I know you are having a quiet time to yourself right now, but all is forgiven if you just.....DO A FRONT LOOP.....Yeah!!! In ya face egg farmer!!! Here chook chook chook!!!
Bell buoy is overrated! Especially when it's over 35 knots! Way too choppy and out of control.
Bakers is the place to be if the swell gets up. Down the line fun! Otherwise East beach off the point
I tend to agree with Mitch. Bell Buoy can be choppy in W-NW. Bakers is definatly worth the trip. Either way it's still good fun. East is also good when Bell Buoy is out of control. Well We'll just have to see what the week brings Ant sorry we pulled your other one a little hard!! See you up here sometime this week perhaps
I have a meeting in Lonny tomorrow night so I'll come up early for a sail.....................can you tell me where..........Bell Buoy, Greens, Bakers?................... my guess is Greens am I right?
Hey Ant. Clarky intends to go to Greens in the morning for a couple of hours before the wind hits 50knots!! A taste of things to come for the next week in the North
Depending on the rain I will sail Greens either morning or afternoon ... at this stage looks more like it will be afternoon ....
Is it going to be East beach Wednesday,Thursday,Friday? Then possible Bell bouy sat when the wind settles below 40 knts?
I can only imagine bell buoy would be out of control with this forecast.
