There's a bunch of us busting to hit Marrawah this month when the forecast is right, Jez, Brett, Jordon, Buzzy, Morgan, Damien, Fluro, Fos, me for a start from the south, Luka will no doubt sniff it out.....................who else is cummin??
The weather should be pretty tame probably no big BOL days but that will be cool for a change............looking forward to sunny days on a seabreeze
Conditions today (from BOM) are a light breeze at Cape Grim and Marrawah with a low swell.
20 to 30 minutes drive down the coast (where i am) to Bluff or Sundown its a solid 25 knots SSW with about 2.5M swell.
We have been getting these conditions a lot lately as the High Pressure systems approach.
Thanks Cookie we need some local knowledge how does it look later in the week that'll give us time to get over festivities
Wednesday on maybe. Have a look at Met Eye
Wed and Thurs look good............... won't be BOL swell but looks OK for Greens and Bluff.........I'm in if it holds
Hansen and I heading up early Wednesday back late Thurs.
Nathan if the forecast comes in again next week I'll go back up........reckon I'll be putting in a few trips
I will also be heading up on Wednesday and staying through to Saturday if the forecast holds up - who else is going?
Out off the Bluff atm it's 15 to 18 knots Ssw and increasing. Swell is small but bigger than yesterday.
Just arrived home after two epic days at Bluff about 15 on the water....... Sunny...... 5m wind with sets about head high.......have to be one of the best days for down the line sailing ..... looks like the next two days will be the same
Some more pics from the Bluff ... taken by me and Simon Hansen ... It was hard to pick from 750 of them.
Is there any pics of us lower level sailors
Sorry Kazza I didn't have the camera in my hand................. I know how it feels...................anyone else?
Looks awesome,
I reckon I can get some time around Australia day, say Friday to Tuesday.
Anyone else interested?
