Woopi advertiser for the article - nice pic of Dan's aerial!
I have already put in the call to Ask Huey for swell. He's very generous will support as well.

Taking a big waveboard and the SUP too.

cheers
Tim

Is there an online version of that photo anywhere?

Tom, it's a picture of Dan from the Woopi comp last year - not the aerial that you took a photo of in Gerroa (if that's what you were thinking). I can upload the article so you/people can have a read. Key thing is to get a picture at the comp site to get some local interest...

Cheers

Thanks for sharing... Nice work getting something into the media. I wish the Australian mainstream media would be more interested in running stuff on windsurfing... or any water sports for that matter.

I guess they just go for the dummest lowest common denominator... cricket and footy. One being the most boring sport in the world the other being ruled by babbling idiots. Not sure what that says about us as a nation.

... stepping of soapbox.

The reporter/editor did a great job but couldn't quite understand that there were many ways to describe a windsurfer!

"Wavesailing professional"?

Shouldn't he be in Sylt right now instead of Woolgoolga?

Hard to make a call at the moment as to sign on - looks like lots of East wind on Seabreeze.
check www.nswwavesailing.org for more details

We will be setting up at 9:00am and closing off sign on and entry at 10:30. Doing all the seeding, writing out the sheets and getting the draw done needs to happen pretty quickly so try to avoid turning up at the last minute.

Ask Huey has indicated that there will be swell but the wind is still uncertain.

Yeah... I still think the next 4 days will be pretty awesome in Gerroa...

Swell was solid head high at the point around 5:30pm. Plenty of bods out surfing. Should be fun tomorrow when the Nor'Easter gets into it.

Oops... sorry got the beach wrong...

You obviously haven't noticed what rain and cloud does to a nor'easter at gerroa Tom.

You are just jealous.

On a different note... I think your gear arrived.

Meeting southside of Flat Top (Hearns Beach off Hearns Lake Road), sign on from 9 until 10:30.

Looks like easterly winds at about 15 knots - so bring big boards and big sails for some Euro wavesailing!
