It seems as if Birubi was only last weekend and already Heat 2 is on in two weeks time! I'm sure this one will be a bit more fun in some warmer conditions!

A big thanks goes out to Stuart Bell Sails and Exocet for putting up some great prizes for this event, without sponsors these events wouldn't happen!

This event takes place just 20mins north of Coffs Harbour on NSW mid north coast. Woolgoolga has the ability to offer epic conditions in both port and starboard tack. It's by far most famous for the renowned southerly wave sailing spot flat rock, but is also equally as good in a nor'easter aswell. If we dont get much wind at this event don't stress as there are some great surf breaks nearby so we will run some just for fun surf comps aswell. This event would be by far my favourite on the calendar.

The event will take place from the 4-6th of october and will include a BBQ on the Saturday night. Rego will take place from 9am-10am on the 4/10/08. For those wanting to travel from sydney or nearby flying is a good option or taking some extra time to drive up. Accomodation ranges from houses, motels to the caravan park which is right on the beach.

For any details please either PM me or call me on 0406554354.

It is the next beach to the south of flat rock fo a nor easter. Also you can get 4wds on the beach up there so the event will be great fun with music blaring and all!

Mr Berry please take your MSN style banter about Gerroa to another thread, this thread is for serious wave sailors only who don't sail at gerroa on days when it's less than 3 foot and glassy.

No, that was your personal film crew following you.

I sailed at Corrimal. 20 knots and over head high all arvo. And thats after Bellambi was 25-30 cross shore all morning when it was NW.

As Whyner said, there is one hardcore local who probably doesn't offer the most un-biased view, particulary when it comes to Gerroa. He still refuses to acknowledge that Gerroa is no windier than the Gong until about November onwards. You should explore.
I'll be there when its on though. Got a shiny board that would be most enjoyable there.
Whyner scored Warilla big time on Sunday!

In reality it was only about 2inches and every imaginable direction, would have been good for qwerty I recon thats if he wasnt too busy hiding in bushes. Alex had a good surf and I had a good pie. Great weekend
