thanks mat,
is my favourite board ever. if i had to choose one board for a desert island that would be the board.
G, your board looks fantastic, gorgeous fat shape and the finished product looks scmicko! I am after something about that size. When it is flukey I take out my F2 stoke for the volume (116L) and width only, wave rides like an utter piece of crap because it is not supposed to, but I still have fun................but to have something like this would be perfect for those light days! Graeme tells me it goes very well too, congrats it must have been a very satisfying exercise from start to finish and then onwards with each wave you catch!
cheers guys,
@ AJEaster,
my boards a little wider than the stoke and a little more volume. but it's outline is more curvey and it has 3 fins to keep the tail drive through the turns.
it's not a pure wave board, BUT it's designed to go anywhere and it does that very well. small waves, freestyle or blasting in light winds is what it covers and it covers all of that well. i use it from 5 knots dredging up to 30 knots lit up blasting and have used it in bay surf up to about chest high.
lots of people have had a go on it and the one thing everyone comments on is how early it planes and how easy and comfortable it sails.
i'm very very happy with it.
