Curious what conditions you ride and your weight. Purchased a 4 and 5m and gotta say, at 88kg in heavy chop and winds 15-30, I've found these to have no low end, light feel off the wind, heavy upwind, dead in transitions, night mare unstable waterstarting. Used the 4m in 25-35 and flatwater and it felt good, but in typical 20-30, it finds every lull and the draft moves around as I go up and down swell/chop. The 5m needs 20-25, but I need it to work 12-25! Maybe it'd be better with rigid handles (still not available) as the soft ones don't feel aligned with the power especially for upwind.... About the only good thing I can say, is if you hate a wing like the Unit that pulls off the front hand and prefers to be underpowered, this is a much lighter and back hand type wing. So maybe if you're riding a midlength or are not a heavy weight, then it would be great.

There was also this ridiculous divergence between what people were saying about the wing online vs what actual people who paid for one i met at the beach said about it. (Pretty much exclusively positive online and vice versa on the beach). The v3 definitely is a bit more durable than the v2 though and rides upwind better.

Agree, the online reports were wildly positive and the in water reports were marginal. I do love my 2m v3 strike because it's tiny and has zero low end, but I knew that when I got it. My 3m v3 was quite technical and while it was a good wing when on foil, I don't think it deserves the gamechanger label it got when released. It's just a solid upwind wing that lacks low end.

V4. Maybe as the canopy stretches it will start to feel more balanced... but I'd say your take on the v3 and mine on the v4 are the same. Interestingly, after I placed the order, I watched two vids of non shop employees comparing the Strike to the Swing and they both preferred the Swing.

Huh interesting. I'm 90KGs. It's true that the Strike v4 is still better in high end, while the Swing is better for low end (but gets real twitchy / nervous in high end). That said, I have still found the V4 to have far more low end than the v3.
I have been using the 3.5M Strike in 22-26 with no problem, but the wind has definitely been consistent. Maybe try the 4.5?
