Which are you referring too? The Wing FG?
No. A new board family is coming. Volumes up to 85 L and width in the range of 17'' (for kids ?) and 21'' aprox.
No one tried them yet ?

You seem to know more than anyone here so why don't you let us know. I have never heard of them and I try and follow everything from armstrong.
Paging Eppo, is there something new on the horizon
I saw them (unfortunately did not try them) and i must say they are the best looking boards Armstrong ever made.
Heard their is a new beginner foil range coming with alloy parts been spoken about, some whispers of maybe some more advanced tails.....but no loose lip gossip on boards in the air around hear.

my fax machine hasn't stopped all week .
spotted at sail GP event, DW shape with strap inserts.
Omg, looks sweet
Yes, during a trip to NZ, I was told about this particular board shape: it's a mid-length board with a pin tail, positioned between the DW and the FG in design as lengths are up to 6.6 if I remember well. It's a logical move to cover the huge gap between DW and FG and to "migrate" or "cross-sell" to their customer base with FG boards... I'm not certain whether it features a displacement hull or a planning hull similar to those in the FG family.
Interesting to see as the smaller board makers are already making and selling longer and skinny wing boards. Will be interesting to see who of the big suppler of wing boards get it wrong for 2025

There were a bunch of really critical responses to the last round of Armie FG boards on this forum, basically saying 'boring, not new' because they weren't so in line with the longer skinnier trend. Interesting to watch how things play out
Armie's new mid-length looks good. Their current wingboard aesthetic is so bad not only the shape but how it looks.
Armstrong is a luxury brand of foiling gears so it should perform well and need to look good. Like a Porsche.

Funny you say that...I had several custom boards, some color white, some color gray, some color naked carbon and never got that many compliments on their look.
Now I ride the new Armie Wing FG and I cannot even count the times people passed by and started commenting on how cool the board looks...
I personally think that the new Armie short board is business. The aesthetic definitely improved quite a lot

There is one thing we can say for certain, at launch date there will be the regular list of Online Pro's flooding the internet, quoting words like "gamechanger" and " up your level"

Nice lines! I'm replacing my 60L FG with the 55L for my daily driver. Keeping the 40L V2 for cranking conditions and going to the air. 65kgs dry here.
Anybody know how wide and long they are?
At a guess
But I could be wrong

Still not enough volume for 110kgs.Have to shed some kgs or just learn how to stink bug.Similar sizes to Sunova Carver biggest 6'2" 95L,but with better plan shape.Keen to see the hull shape.Probably bit similar to the DW hull shape.
Do they come with foot straps inserts
pics show them - i'd assume so
I struggle to understand who are this boards for..
85kg here, thinking of lifting a 85L but the question I have is what do I gain/lose compared to the KT Dragonfly 7'4 105L I have?
For me early lift in sub 10kt is the #1 requirement and it is not clear whether these midlegth such as this one, the Sunova Carver and the new KT midlegth will be as efficient as longer DW boards.
If people who tried them bot can chip in, I'd be v grateful

Mid lenght boards are mainly for riders who only want one board for all.
In my case, I don't want a long downwind board. My 6'4''x20'' board lets me sail in 9-35 knt conditions (wing 6 to 3.5m2) and also it fits in my european-size car.

DW board ride like a DW board but mid-length ride like a wing board with extra light wind performance. Ride feel is totally difference.
For a reference, my opinion based on my experience with Sunova Aviator DW 7'2" x18" 103L and Sunova Carver 5'10" x 20" 85L
In very light wind DW board still have an edge but other than that the Carver is better. I don't have any sinker because at my spot the wind is generally light and inconsistent.

For me, 7'6 wasn't sporty enough winging.
6'8 felt very sporty.
6'2 felt even more sporty, but lost some momentum, smooth flow rail to rail and pump.
So I settled with 6'8.
Meanwhile my tiny wife, found 6'2 to be her magic size. The 6'8 was too sluggish, even though she does admit the 6'8 has more momentum and pump.
5'5 was a hard no for both of us.
Find your sweet spot.

Hello Dwight,
I wonder if you'd rate the Sabfoil Torpedos at 6.3/19.9/100l and 6.4/110l already midlength compared to purebreed DW boards ?!
thx, J?rgen
