Are there any people here who own or have had the opportunity to try the Smik Stokr Breeze wingfoil boards ??

I would like to have feedback on the advantages, disadvantages and what dimensions is/was your test board ?

Thank you !!!

I can't comment on the Stokr wing board specifically, however I recently bought a demo Stokr DW board 7'6" x 19 1/2 @ 115 litres and was eyeing off the 6' wing board that was on here (must have sold - bummer)
I love it!
Im using the DW board for all my winging, this weekend was out in sub 8knots, 2 weeks ago out in 25knots.
Solid construction, fast through the water, ribbed deck grip is awesome with small gaps between the sheets so you can reference your feet position by feel or a quick visual.

Your post has me very interested in the boards as well but there appears to be very scant info on them. I looked at the Smik website and they aren't even listed on there. Just a video from Kite Republic. Looking forward to hearing from a punter who has one as they look like just what I'm chasing.

I can't wait to know more and have pictures of your Hilly board !!!
Is it a "mid length" type shape ??

Bit wider than most mid lengths for my 90 plus kg. No handles or foot straps to be as light as possible. Hoping for <5 kg.

I got one a month ago and its awesome. Incredible value for money. KR are very easy to work with and if you are in Melbourne they can organise a demo for you as well.

Is this the the first narrow board you've ridden? If not, what others have you tried and how does this compare?

Yes, the first narrow board. Took me 20-30 minutes to get used to the width. My previous board was a 28" barge.

I'm picking up my 6' STOKR Breeze next month
I've been procrastinating for a few months about a "new" ML wing board with a 6' length, narrower than 20" and somewhere neutral to +10 buoyancy and it was down to a Carver or the SMIK As I already have the SMIK Stokr in an 7'6" DW and absolutely love that board I decided to stick with what I know. My intention is to use the 6' as my everyday wing and FoilDrive board and park the DW board for those super light days (sub 8 knots) and use it to keep practicing my SUP/DW paddle techniques.

Any news about your future Custom Hilly board ???
With my lumberjack build (1m89 and +/-110kg) I would like to find a board between the StoKr and the Slab V2, something in the 6'1/6'3 x 27' and +/-125 liters would be perfect....

Should be here soon.
Narrower boards feel way better. See if you can try a mates/shop dw sup to wing it will give you the idea of what dimensions you want. 27 is still very wide. 24 would be a good interim step down.

Yes I understood that narrow boards were much better, the "problem" is that I started and am currently on a Naish Hover Ultra Carbon of 6'6 x 33' and 140 liters and going down from 33' wide to 22' or 23' suddenly really scares me especially since I am tall (1m89) and heavy (+/-110kg) and I mainly practice on Lake which is very quickly very very Bumpy as soon as the wind gets stronger ....
After the advantage of Smik is that there is always a way to see with Scotty to have a Custom made, I have already had 2 Custom Sups made and I must admit that when you have an atypical size it is great.

I am 88kg now, hoping for 85kg but the last 3kg going to be hard. So 85l should be about spot on. The 95l Ben tardrew I have will be for super light wind.

Eating way less, one meal a day some days. Two at most. Restrict carbs as much as possible.

There was a guy up north who has had a LOT of different boards and was absolutely rapped with his !!I have ordered a DW board off Smik as I had a touch and feel of one of them as well, great construction and light.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the Smik Stok'r Breeze in the 6', 85L configuration from Kite Republic. Should be here by around next Friday. Super excited to try it. I have to say, the guys I dealt with at Kite Republic were very helpful and professional. I'll throw in a review once I've had a session on it. Thanks for the above info.

Is there a profile photo of the board to see the volume distribution? The other midlength boards seem to have a bit more volume in front of the tracks. Is stokr different?

If you watch the Kite Republic video on the board, you'll see the profile thickness. The nose definitely seems to have lower volume than other similar length/width boards.

So I've been riding this for a month now in a range of conditions. The nose has less volume but you figure that out after a few sessions. Due to its shape the board is very efficient and takes off like its nothing. Im 90 kg and where I would use a 5.5 in 16-17 knots, I am now comfortable on a 4.0. I still use a bigger foil (Code 980s) but I am happy with the smaller wing size. Because it is narrow, you can throw it around on the bumps and really carve into the turns. Speaking of bumps, the stiffness lets me pump from one bump to the next very easily, especially in combination with that 980s glide machine. The only struggle point I had was when it is really bumpy it requires some skill to get going again and I would wear booties for those that knee start as the deck grip is pretty rough on the feet, but super grippy once you're up. I have ditched the booties again, now that I am used to the board. I haven't tried proning it and when I say I connect bumps, this in DW mode when out wing foiling. Get one and have a brilliant summer

This Hilly Board is magnificent!!!

What model is the shape based on because the bottom does not look like any current Smik board ???

No strap insert ??

What brand of Foil do you use, are your boxes "normal", I find the new boxes longer than some brands to be sure that the board will adapt without problems to the majority of foils on the market.
