You've already shown that you are a bigoted liar, so you've got no right to talk about justice.

It's utterly stupid of you to claim that I'm against victim's justice; I just don't like lies - no matter who makes them. One of my best mates has been subject to what I am sure are false DV allegations so I'm aware they exist, but that doesn't mean hate-filled lies should go unchallenged.

True story
I had a roofing supplies buisness in the northwest UK region, had a customer who'd turn up with a weekly black eye n thick lip, few scratches n stuff to the face, basically looked the type of lad who enjoyed a wknd brawl or 2
I good mate of mine who knew him well said his missus would go out with a couple of girlfriend, get on the booze n cocaine then come home n beat him up, but the catch was they'd furk his brains out in the process in a 2 sometimes 3 on 1 furkfest , he never from what I know reported it.

Are you aware that this is an Australian website, not a US or Italian one?

Are you aware the DV industry issues are common across the western world.

Are you aware that independent evidence show that women in Australia are far more likely to suffer from domestic violence and abuse?

Have you had the honesty to admit you lied in an earlier post, or are you too much of a coward to do so?

Yes, some women lie in DV allegations; a few of them. That doesn't mean that the lies you post are true. Any problems you've had are probably down to your own dishonesty.

A bit like blaming women for getting raped and its not a few and similarly your lies are down to your behaviours, remember we are not on HW so keep your insults out and remember when the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser

I'm going to provide you a few more facts Chris as to be honest your sitting in you ivory tower with your rose coloured glasses on.

women murdered by their partners in 2018 is 63 which is absolutely disgusting and a lot of lives, horrible horrible facts.

now when we look at suicide rates of males you find that it's 3 x higher than that of womens
17.8 per 100000 men or 5.8 per 100000 for women......

Australia has 25 million ( more actually) population so approx 4450 men kill themselves every year........

So whilst 68 women's life's are important and a disgraceful reflection of our society 4450 men knocking themselves off receives little outrage in comparison.......

The question to be asked is why are they knocking themselves off???

Pretty sure you already know the answer to that one Chris......

"Rose coloured glasses"; no, I deal with reality and I'm not being a vile piece of lying scum like the filth here who have abused women in words (and judging from their attitude, may have abused women physically).

The fact that men kill themselves is a tragedy, but to claim that the high suicide rate is because of women is a lie.

Your dishonesty is proven by the fact that you know nothing about me, but you claim I'm sitting in an ivory tower. I've been divorced. I've recently been on suicide watch for my best mate, through his divorce. You are a liar to claim that I'm in an ivory tower. Stop lying, please.

I'll tell you precisely where you lost me.
your statement less than one percent are made up.....
Thats a flat out lie and you know it.
Unless you are the most naive lawyer in the known solar system you know that it's far far higher than that, you may not be permitted to represent someone who you feel is guilty or lying but that doesn't entitle you to present less than 1% as a fact.
Its presented to appease your own soul knowing full well you have shafted men's lives representing a lady who is lying through her teeth.

This is why I stated you live in an ivory tower with rose coloured glasses on. I'm not a liar I'm calling you out.

People pay you to lie for them, It's what you do , some would say your a professional.

1% at a stretch and you work in the system , it's a lie and yes you have rose coloured glasses on

Errrrr.......... I never claimed anything about one percent. You are thinking about stamp, another poster, who said that and clearly said it was in THEIR experience.

You got it wrong. Again. And your statement that I live in an ivory tower is a lie. It's also probably a lie if you are referring to stamp; if they are a family lawyer they have probably seen more real life than you have.

You and stamp live in the same ivory tower or perhaps have one next to each other, possibly share the same pair of rose coloured glasses.
But I do apologise for calling you a liar Chris and mainly in that singular scenario and reference to the one percent part which was directed at Stamp, but to be honest it's only to show that I can admit I'm wrong and be the bigger person.

I don't apologise to stamp.
Stamp is a liar and by trade

Face facts - you lied. You are so biased you can't admit that your claim "you won't read this stuff in the left wing media" was a lie. You started the lies and insults with your stupid claim, so therefore by your own terms you are the loser.

Nothing I have said is anything like blaming women for getting raped, and any such claim by you is another lie.

Thank you for apologising, but it's still incorrect to claim that I'm in an ivory tower. It is dishonest for you to do so, since you don't have any evidence for that claim. I can still remember as a kid, listening to someone who later murdered his wife in a DV situation. I can remember meeting a couple overseas and talking to them, never dreaming than he would murder her when drunk a few years later. I have a good mate who is (I'm sure) falsely accused of DV. I've been divorced myself. I've known a guy hospitalised by his wife.

Claiming that I'm in an ivory tower is a lie and a stupid lie since you had no basis for your claim. That fact alone destroys your claims to credibility. You just make **** up.

There's two sides to every story. We're only hearing one, and more than likely thats the only one we will hear.

With the family court system geared the way it is now, it would hardly be a surprise if Bettina was correct.

So saying theres two sides to every story and Bettina might be right equates to "Wow dude. You need help." Thats some real deep thinking you've got going on there.

im not the one who needs the help. Perhaps if "Queensland car fire guy" had received help when he was probably at a significantly low point in his life, this might not have happened.

Just how do you stop it from happening again if you are not interested in finding out what caused it in the first place. Of course it's wrong what he did, but saying it's wrong and nothing justifies his actions will not stop it from happening again and again. It's not the first time this sort of tragedy has happened and sadly probably won't be the last. No one is trying to justify what he did, they just want to get a complete picture in the hope some sort of intervention can take place prior to a tragedy like this ever happening again.

Pull your head out of you arse.

It's never OK to burn one's family to death. To say "maybe he was driven too far" indicates some small amount of justification.

It has nothing to do with understanding why he decided to burn his family to death.

Bettina makes a living out of making excuses for violent men. The potential stripping of her OAM would be just.

Maybe she's gone too far and is part of the problem.

its not about justifying his actions at all. Its about stopping it happening again.

The media has been been pretty quick to jump straight on the domestic violence/"stop hurting women" band wagon and completely ignore whats going on for the dude. All the accounts i heard from family/friends on last nights report were saying they never expected him to do it and he wasn't violent.

One thing we can do as good and decent men, which almost all men are, is stop joking about domestic violence. I'm not saying this from an ivory tower, I'm so very guilty of it, and I've felt guilt and shame at the violence that followed.
Every time we hear a man, joking or not, saying something off, be it derogatory or violent, we should call him on it without fear of presenting ourselves as a dick with no sense of humour.

No, I'd support that idea if all men were to stop joking but just men stop and women continue, no not interested in supporting that idea. That's the problem with the DV industry, its called the Duluth model.
