The place whose name we cannot say is now gone...
It's best we let it stay gone...
Victoria?
You know I think I am a bit disappointed and will continue to post witty and inspiring articles to myself on my home PC and pretend that there are other readers and that they appreciate them. I can live in delusion for a while longer.
Does anyone on here actually sail or kite? What is this thing called windsurfing I keep hearing about?
There were kites on the pond today. Two! Who wants to kite in coldish weather? Perhaps I need to buy a wetsuit? Do they make them with Covid waitlines?

Who was the last reader?
I was looking at a post, went back to the menu to see all the other meaty topics and it was gone.
That was 4:04pm NSW time

Like the old pain in the ass girlfriend who just up and left one day without saying goodbye...!
Like most posts on here things have gone off subject. This post took a bit longer which is good.
For me is about learning and then sharing. A bit like life.
And one thing I learnt as a kid is too say Thank you.
THANK YOU, you poor bastard for having to read and be subjected to so much bull**** in your life. And thank you for not letting it put you off and continuing to let the people who want to share share the stoke. No matter what sport it is.
Thank you.
And if i ever want a fake passport or drivers license I know who to ask.
I have seen lesser forums taken down from adds etc like this!
It will take along time to get me, and many others, back.
umm So are you back or not. Did a bot just write your last post ?
These sort of comments are another reason I hardly contribute these days.
I only check in to SB periodically because I have to.

Because you have to ....?
Funny how people can find out anything they want with a few clicks, but are too lazy to find the answer to a really basic question.
I had been the president of a state based watersports organisation for some years. I'm still on the committee.
People in these associations do so much for the various sports combined- not for their own glory- but just to "share the stoke".
When there are repeated nasty comments bagging out the committee or their actions, one would expect the moderator to at least remove the post. Repeated comments of this nature and other breaches of the forum rules should see them booted. Asking seabreeze to remove vicious or nasty posts about an organisation is an arduous process. There are still comments on one forum criticising me for clearly answering questions about sporting activities allowed during lockdown. Despite several requests for their removal, the comments are still there. Apart for the criticism of my actions as the VP of the organisation, they could be construed as promoting illegal activity.
Imagine if this was criticism of a manufacturer or advertiser on seabreeze. Protect them at all costs- but let people troll the volunteers who run the events, organise the insurance, provide accurate information and do the hard yards to make things happen for these sports.
Look at one of the once lively and popular Tasmanian forums and it is now dead- no wonder.
So, in answer to the question eppo, I suppose I don't "have to" anymore- I'll just post any information for the relevant community on our facebook page and give SB a miss completely, wind up the account and all that. Did have a good time for a while there.
Good show chaps.

Click the little red flag above the offending post, and the admins are alerted. Easy peasy.
It's the policy of this forum to remove abuse, and keep it a friendly place to visit.

Make your own beer and drink it, also good for the mental health.
(if alcohol is your thing, I acknowledge it isn't for everyone)
