Anyways i have been pretty creatively eccentric when dating I allways choose rather than a present to take part in some for of activity.

For instance we went iceskating.. Never been there before but in all honesty we both had a ball for her birthday. Think the trick is because you have been only going out short term jewlery and stuff is off the cards. an activity would benifit you both and its good teambuilding.
another suggestion is would say would be take her hot air ballooning. ( this is one that i would like to do one year)

Spot on Buster - missus and I sill try and do this rather than dodgy presents

Although I took a girl iceskating on a third date when I was 15-16 - little did I know that she had done 5 years of figure skating (she didnt say anything about it till we hit the ice) and she spent the date bored as I crashed my way around the rink- was the the third and last date

Yellow flowers means friendship...so thats a good start.

why are women into flowers... I don't get it. you spend fair money on a decent bunch, and they just sit for a week on a table and then die off and end up in a green waste bin.

Why not get a pampering treatment, massage or something. Women love that... it's relaxing etc... It's hard to make a mistake with that one. Doesn't have any deep meaning, but it shows that you care and want her to feel good...

I agree with the massage...or a pamper treatment
but do you know how much they are???
Thats to much to spend on a very new girl friend..

and the flowers come with a different reason, from my point of view, which is if the relationship does not last, then there is no lasting memory of NasiGoreng as the flowers have died and been throwen out.

If he gives her perfume, or some sort of physical item and the relationship dies, she has a constant reminder of maybe a crappy relationship (in her mind) and throws the item away..(waste of money)

Hey but then he might marry her

Yes i know its expensive. -id stick to the ice skating thats like 15 dollars for 2 hours! probably why i haven't taken my hubby hot air ballooning !

_ but hey he sounds like he is young single wage no anchors.
I think they key is there if your not compatible you can still have alot of fun and memories without being locked into a relationship where money or possession take priority. If you dont end up with this girl the memory of you and her doing something eccentrically out of the circle will never be forgotten.
Flowers last a week memories last a lifetime !

That is whole point. He can do all this by himself. ( I suspect he may have some experience in massaging already with a lot of practise )
Start with foot or back massage and go on...
The only investment could be nice fragrant oil or cream (don't advice to use his own on first date )
What do you think Gypsy?

anyway I will give you free anytime anywhere (to Gypsy o.c) don't need to waste any ballons also on good massage, too

You know what ,,,
Egyptian princess used to bath in donkey milk, for beauty

Cleopatra even full bath in slaves milk for exceptional skin therapy
....
I think that with such exeptionanal contribution from all SB 'members'
this girl could have the best royal treatment too

Funny we can take them iceskating (I'd check her credentials too), but not rugby or playing hockey or something fun.

I wonder why that is...

Hubby. HUBBY!???!

Buster, is there something you haven't told us? Has someone hacked your account??

FWIW, I'd go with what gypsy says. Flowers and a root.

No he shouldn't: she'll associate that "gift" with the B-day, and that means he won't be able to give it for another 364 days...

Bad call...

That is very bold decision you taken in your life with this earings !

You know if is not the right one the whole relationship will collapse immediately and your life never will be the same again.

So what you are saying is "looks like sh** and only cost under $100. I would give my ex (who I can no longer stand ) a gift of at least twice the value" Thats really going to show you up as a tight ars*. Don't do it.

If you take advice seriously and did follow our advice and point by point tick off all suggestions:
ice skating , balloons , flower with roots and without, massage, pictures, drinks and roots again, jewelery, and gold nugets
I can't imagine how the plan could fail
