Rotto just hit 52 knots. But it's NNE.... Strongest offshore I have ever witnessed. I'll be keen on the six this arvo if she decides to swing.

Might have to dust out the go pro

tue evening and wed morning for me, look out for a 6m rpm skimming the water, leaned back and digging in hard [}:)] sort of puts a 25knot summer breeze to shame, i thrive on the danger

The Fiji pro live stream is finished for the day and the wind is pretty much due North at 25+, time to pump up the 5.

It's already swung NNW up an Lancelin. 30-35 knots easy on the squalls. Messy as hell out there though. Kind of glad I'm working, takes the decision out of my hands. Chicken? Maybe, my smallest is a 7.

Just restrung my 7m (Broke a line in the last session).
Now just waiting for the wind to turn and settle.
My money is on the arvo turning due west and settling out to 25kts.

After living the last two years in Brisbane, I'll have to dust off the wetsuit...

Gusts of 40 woop woop

That's some heavy **** right there. ; ) If you've never ridden over 40 knots, today is not your day to try. Might get out on the 5 if the inside cleans up a bit, sooo ugly at the mo'

I gave it a shot a Mullaloo with Parko.

Thanks Tightlines and your buddies for the launch.

I quickly found out that i was way too over powered on the 6m Switchblade. The gusts didn't help. I managed to scoot down the beach twice and that was pretty much it.

It think it was direct West or WNW. I was so close to them plastic beach poles, I thought to myself this was a time for self preservation.

I didn't gain much from the expirence, except to say that's the first time I have kited in around 50knots. I'll use a 4m next time.
