I gave it a shot a Mullaloo with Parko.

Thanks Tightlines and your buddies for the launch.

I quickly found out that i was way too over powered on the 6m Switchblade. The gusts didn't help. I managed to scoot down the beach twice and that was pretty much it.

It think it was direct West or WNW. I was so close to them plastic beach poles, I thought to myself this was a time for self preservation.

I didn't gain much from the expirence, except to say that's the first time I have kited in around 50knots. I'll use a 4m next time.

why ?

It's a challenge.

I have the ability.

"If you don't challenge yourself, you dont grow"

I now take away a memory that no one can take away.

That's why.

Thay's OK Greuzi, it might still be a bit gusty, and there'll be a few trees around, and I heard you're still riding the Cabs, so, umm, err, might be best if you just sit this one out

Two doors down lost their entire roof and took out half of the roof a house only a down.

Large tuart tree dropped half it's branches just missing my beloved delica van. Landed on power line, still working but I can, or could touch it without outstreatched hands.

Nearly every second house one street closer to beach from me has lost a gutter or two.

Was an awesome kite his Arvo

Here are a few snaps from today. Its was mental at one point and no one was riding. Once the storm came through it dropped to nothing unfortunately.

Around 4pm there were couple of guys on Scarborough.

Before that, one guy a few km off shore with purple, yellow and dark color kite.

I looked with my binoculars and couldn't see you most of the time...

Hat off to you!

Got out around 2:30 at Mullas, by then it had calmed down.

Good session, was a lot of West in it but some good waves coming through.

Great to be out after a couple of land locked weeks

So, you are the one in NO kiting area?

That's South Perth, right? Correct me if I'm wrong but this once again is a NO go.

Any takers? Waksa?

I hunted around the net and couldn't find anything that said no... Swan River Trust said self regulate and avoid crowded areas... the only other craft out yesterday was the ferry 500m upwind!

there is nothing to say it is a no go area , people just think it's banned.
