That's funny Eppo, my wife, who would certainly claim femo nazi credentials (my judgement) is quite damming about schools culture being dominated by middle aged over weight, over assertive females. Tough for boys for sure. Great there are some blokes like you in there.

Yeh it's not just the schools, it's this stupid modern parenting...

Here's one manifestation and incident...

I have 3 friends who work at three seperate schools in three different sectors. We we talking about this the other day.

Now when I went to school, my main reason was to get through class so I could play sport with my mates on the oval. We would be eating our lunches as we walked to the oval, then it was game on. The oval was full to the brim, with crew having the same mindset.

We all commentated we had noticed that the ovals are empty, apart from a few boys running mindlessly after a ball..which is what we do.

Instead they stand/sit around is groups, talking about rubbish, playing wrestling type games sometimes that really resemble something like kiss chasey.

What you get is boys increasingly coming to you complaining that he said this, and she said that and i am being bullyed and.......sound familiar;

Obviously as a professional and their carer I need to remain neutral, follow it up, help sort out the male bitch problems by OMG MEDIATION...let's talk some more about this...'how do you feel roger?'...oh for fk sake. I bight my tongue!

Was easier to sort out in my day...but there were less problems because we sitting around like females gossiping and dribbling **** like they do.

anyhow the other day two boy real early in the morning before school were kicking a footy to each other. I just walked by. Anyhow this neurotic chicken (a female teacher) came running up to me very very concerned they were kicking a footy where they shouldn't and why didn't I say anything.

Well I politely said what I do i my business, mind your own and if you are really concerned do something about it yourself. I said i was glad they were even kicking a footy, better than sitting around 'talking'. Anyhow weak as piss as they are, she felt offended and now I have to undergo....

wait for it...

MEDIATION...

oh christ the irony.!

hi , just a quick update, ive been making a few calls over the weekend and its looking a go, we have a couple of options with the gig we could do it in a couple of stops if you want , its not for a rest its to check out a possible great spot on the way, as mentioned its a big gig and i wouldnt go into it so much if it was for myself id just hit it up with a mate or two, so we could set off from a different point and kite across to a land pinnacle called cape herrison, then on to cape bellefin, the are a few dramas with this the crossing to bellefin as it can be super shallow perfect for kiting but no good for the boat, also the final 200mtrs might take a bit of planning as the wind is close to being offshore, however ive kited it and use the big tiger sharks as a motivation to stay upwind ( it works great), for those who havnt been or heard of dirk hartog its a place when visited firmly lodges itself in your head, ( stunning)
so the is a bit more planning to be done before we talk dates and numbers, ill keep you all posted

thanks for the map rob, if you look at the sand dunes it gives you the general wind direction, so the denham start point would be a long hard tack, where as setting off and doing the two stops would make it a tad more enjoyable, im not a lover of long tacks imo they are boring unless we jump over the support boats on the way, stopping would let us do a head count and gear check, the 2 speccy spots as rob shows are tetradon loup and surf point, surf point is a tricky one as safety goes, honestly if you down your gear here on a big day the chances of telling the tale would be slim , ive rode it once and as epic as it was i was pretty glad to get back on the beach, a jet ski would make it a much safer option, transporting us all there is another drama (although might have a vehicule there) tetradon loup is a huge pristine lagoon with sand bars razor back dunes that meet the waters edge, mangrove trees in little bays (great to jump), with the dunes you can load up go big land half way up the dune and ride it back down to the water,, its a superb spot, then the is some wicked fishing and general island exploring , as for nature this is what has me by the balls ive swam with whale sharks and mantas near turtle bay also dugongs regular and big tigers (sharks), so it wouldnt be just about the kiting, im still working on some stuff as involving other people it becomes a tad more difficult, im beginning to see why hitler never took on the poms as a bit of water between land masses makes it a completely different ball game

Well I can't follow what you guys are saying, but as far as kites go I can hold my own. No need to worry about me. I will just be following the mad prick on an edge, with my own edge. Just need to know the colour of your edge cauncy and I'm good.

Lol

I go back to my original comment, that a pucken big bit of ocean!

I'm definitely interested Cauncy, though I don't have much to offer by way of logistical support and it depends on what mood the boss is in as to whether I can get the days off when a date is set.

I'll be the other nutter on an Edge riding a twinnie trying to keep up!

That's why it will be such an adventure! I can shove a flare down my wetty to make sure I look the most well hung, that's about it for logistics with me to...sorry. I can make some sandwiches....lol....

Could have the local rag do a story and ask a local gero business to sponsor it...its 530 in the morning...probably stupid idea

I thought Tetrodon Loop looked good just looking at the map.
But the pics just blew me away. So tempting!
