For myself, I think it's unwise to engage an idiot in a nonsense argument because they have way more experience at it than I do so I will probably lose every time.

But yet you said the following in a post a bit earlier, "but I bet our riders are far better than you". Super professional way to promote your re-branded gear.

I don't think you need my help, you seem to be doing well by yourself, but,
Was a serious question, is it the same business /brand that was donkey then griffin now buzz ?
Will it change again without notice and suddenly no spare parts or support ?
Which is one of the reasons why your prices should be waaay under the known trusted brands till some sort of trust and stability has been established, which takes many years. If these new buzz kites came out at $750, like other new brands did, it might be worth the risk, but to be new and be the same coin as trusted brands????

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and actually test the gear without having to buy it?! ?Maybe have an informed opinion rather than being uninformed and negative.

We have full stock of spares so don't stress yourself overly about it. Actually I am kind of hoping that someone with your attitude never rides Buzz kites anyway...we don't need that kind of energy associated with our brand so please stick with whatever brand you are currently riding.

We started with a full stock of spares because we noted the challenges people had getting spares for other brands. We wanted to make sure we could get people back on the water if there was any problems. We still have almost all our original stock because the kites are so robust. Anyway you needn't stress yourself overly about it. More than that, we have them at low prices too. So don't stress about that either. In saying that, we have attracted some really nice people to our brand and someone with your attitude won't fit in to our crew. So please stick with whatever brand you are currently riding. Thanks.

Werent they called Monkey kites or Donkey kites or something 12 years ago ?? Are they the same ones?

I am sure others can do better than that.
Just an old pathetic regurgitated attempt at being negative.
Weather is non kiteable for me today so thought I'd have some fun with negative guys.
I get my life back again soon hopefully.

I wonder what kind of person wakes up and decides it's a good idea to try and destroy someone else's business and undermine their hard work? For myself, I think it's unwise to engage an idiot in a nonsense argument because they have way more experience at it than I do so I will probably lose every time.

Lotofwind is correct, monkey kites was rebranded to griffin in 2009.

7000 views on this thread and I don't think it's done buzz kites any favours. I purchased a new 9 m kite last week and to tell the truth after the tit for tat crud on here I didn't even consider test riding one, it's not really the sort of company id like to deal with. Good luck with your venture mate

Professionals - we never claimed to be the best at this whole forum thing...in fact, as had been well noted, most of us are not on this forum much at all. We get that there are people here who are going to criticise us for no good reason no matter what we do or don't do. We will reply when they make false claims or have a go at us behind the anonymity afforded here.

As I understand it, Monkey kites preceded Griffin kites about 10 years ago. It's not been around since then. Buzz kites is a one year old brand. We have an ongoing exclusive license to use the Griffin design. Meanwhile Griffin kites are in a bit of an indefinite holding pattern due to personal circumstances.

Why do guys have to be so negative?
How about you give them a fair go, pretty simple really. Try the kite, if you like it buy it if you don't then buy something else! I don't understand the issue???
Hats off for trying to break in to the market, big financial commitment in a limited industry with so many other brands, I wish you well.

I think most Kite brands/shops retail their kites in the paid buy and sell section, people make a choice from there.

Thanks very much for the support. It is a big commitment and I'm sure some of the people here have no idea how much work goes on behind the scenes to even get decent gear into the market. We are happy for anyone to try the kites and then form an opinion instead of just stirring up an opinion from thin air. We would never have bothered if we didn't believe our kite gear is able to perform with the best of them.Best wishes!

He's got a fair while before he exceeds my jumps and so do you by the looks of it. But that's cool you keep plugging away buzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Teaching him him to be a dickhead is a given. Because one day he may have to deal with humorous idiots like yourself.

Not a new business trying to break into the market, been around for 12 years under different names, monkey, griffin now buzz. Makes you wonder why the non stop rebranding ??
Shops wont sell them so they are trying the free pimping posts on here to flog their gear. If after all this time the shops wont touch them ??
I think most the ripping comes from people sick of fake kite reviews from one post pimps.
