Pauls shed is full, I can voutch for that. I think Paul has picked a winner with the minis as they dont cost a lot to make. And there is now quite a fleet in the goldfields. Trave class5 OTT with the barrow wheels goes well I think, I know he is dam hard to catch on his on days.
Is there ever any wind in NSW, seen some great beaches but has not been any point in taking the mini off the rack

Cheers

Just keep coming Vic.
When you get to Brisbane just travel about an hour further north and take the bridge over to BRIBIE ISLAND. On the southern end of the island is Red Beach (or is it Black Beach??) The sailing strip is not very wide but the surface is good and the wind angle to the beach is usually spot on. The length of the run is probably 6 or 7 klms.

About 3 hours more up the road is Bundaberg where we have a spare room if you want and I can take you to this beach which can be very sailable with the right winds. I have got up to 65 kmh on it on occasion.

Then if you are planning on making the pilgrimage to our Mecca, I will go also for a few days and we could do a bit of benchmarking between your OTT and my fairly standard mini on fabulous Farnborough Beach at Yeppoon.

PM me when you are getting closer.

there has also been a custom winking, grinning, flying pig sticker especially commisioned for this yacht
the printer used up the end of a sheetto print off some extras, so there are 8 left.
If you think you can justify becoming a custodian of one of them , tell us all why

Here's mine

Where did the rest go?!?!?!?!?

spirit of stupidity got to meet its new competition, 'spirit of christmas' on sunday.
this ones been built locally, very much recycled, and very nice to sail.
she's a flat Y frame with 20" front end.
the front is very stable and rather nice to cruise in.
with a few minr tweeks and some racing practice for the owner, and we could have some close competition

Maybe someday we'll see how the seat-back was made, and how it attaches, etc[}:)]
