When I took it to Lake Lefroy last June there was not enough wind to blow my hat of. Will have to wait until our speed / marathon weekend at the end of September

Not a lot has changed, completely stripped at the moment. I will post some pics as it goes Back together. Are your yachts on the way back yet?

Took the winged mini to Lefroy, Due to lack of suitable wind after the completion was over there was not a good chance to sail it. It did get moving in light winds but not enough to get excited about. Crazey Trav is now the looking after the yacht, I know that he will get the best out of it and he is only a few K from Lefroy.(go Trav.)I can always go for a sail in it when I am up that way.

Im not sure if your mini wing uses a windex. I don't think I could sail my wing without one especially in light air. At about 30 seconds into the video you can see how the main wing angle is trimmed very close to the windex. Another way to help with correct trim is by placing some tell tails on the flap so about an inch of the tell tails stream off the back of the flap. When trimmed properly the tell tail is visible . When not you will not see them. I stagger mine on the port and starboard side of the wing so they don't tangle with each other.

Thanks, yes I do use a wind indicator. But it is now on my class5. They probably need one for the wing mini. (it is now 800k from where I live)
