It might be personal but I did not mind the runners on the Adams 28.
In high winds with the genoa furled and the cutter stay in use with the storm sail bent, one had to use the runners. They - after working out the proper way of doing it - never fuzzled me when tacking or gybing. On a larger vessel it might be different, though.
The draught and tide is a consideration of every slip.
I was told to turn up at a particular time for haul out, and not to be late, at Woolwich Marina, and my draught was 1.47 meters only.
I think this fits the bill as "interesting". I've always liked the concept for cruising. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/dunalley/sail-boats/freedom-33-centreboard-cat-ketch-sail-boat/1204814175
Yes, certainly the last two entries are interesting.
While the trimaran needs a fair amount of care and a gallon of booze, the Freedom 33 is a unique vessel just with a beer in hand.
I sailed on two unstayed masted boats. One a Finn dinghy the other the 12m Radford, Sun Toy.
The cat rig - on that size yacht - is certainly unique in this country.
Yachthub have just listed a 1987 Petersen 32
Would anyone like to tell me what they think it is worth and why?
If someone can put the details up I would appreciate it.
Peterson SP 30 with a raked transom added by Syd Fischers' Coordinated Marine in Rozelle to make the Cord 32. I built one for a mate's father. "Hot Stuff" is now moored in Bedlam Bay. The deck moulding from memory came from the Traditional Yachts range when they went belly up. There was also a Cord 34.
