Warana ll at St Leonards a few years ago not long after we bought her. As shoal draft motor sailer she's perfect for our plans to do some coastal cruising, her lines where taken off the coutaboat and with some changes, adapted to a motorsailer without the center board but with a good deal of lead built into the keel.

On the sail home to Blairgowrie from St Leonards

The first haul out for a repaint of the hull. The timber is Tallowwood and in great condition.

Launch Day after the haul out so the internal ballast wasn't in yet. Also the sails and rig didn't have much life left so we decided to convert to gaff which will be going in this spring. She has been a motor boat for the last two years.

Botany Bay Sunset

Crookhaven River

West side Fraser Island

42ft Adams centre cockpit.
No longer own it - can't call it a "her" or a "she" as it's not mine anymore.
Really enjoyed living aboard for two years exploring the east coast, looking forward to doing it again in the not too far distant future

Seabird crossing the line in a fun race and a magical Moreton Bay sunrise looking towards Amity Pt, taken while fishing on the northern side of Peel Is.

If i where to have a fiberglass boat it would have that sort of keel or at least a skeg before the rudder like the S&S 34.
Where are you moored, Limeburners?

Swanson 31 with rudder hung off keel. Later 80's fiberglass version. Maybe one of two or 3 like it. Ment to write deatails when posting on way on on tram. Hit post by accident then realised I'd missed my stop. Yes to located at limeburners, near Geelong.

Very tidy Charriot and I would say near perfect for your cruising area. Nice one.

Thanks , you right there, but dry storage in Rosslyn Bay harbour is a killer. Soon has to go.

Hi all

I am really impressed (and a bit jealous) with the boats that are owned by the forum members

They are all different but they all look good

good thread Don.

I went through about 8 boats in a row thinking ?eah i'd like that one, i'd like that one etc, and as you can see they are all different.
From couta boats to the Pogo nice chine backside, plus an International Canoe, I think we've got good taste between us.

"Here is my two boats worth"

The first is my Swanson 32 "Magic Carpet", with a sugar scoop stern retrofitted, cruising down the Crookhaven back to our mooring. The Swanson is currently on the market as we upgraded last year to the Hunter 356 in the next picture. The Hunter is moored in McCarrs Creek, Pittwater, for now.

MC, have you got the history of the Swanson 32.
Looks like the old bubble cabin hidden there.
