I need some more boat pics, the lack of sailing has me a bit twitchy. Any new photos of the Seabreeze fleet of late? This is the new 'nude' look, the vinyl on the hull sides was getting a bit ratty, so it was stripped and polished the gelcoat instead. I was going for another color but kinda like the all white look , so decided to leave it like this for the mo.

Any more pics of your ride ?

Isn't yours on the market now or are they just using fusion pic for marketing ?

After 6 months away in the Northern Territory fishing, we are now home and ready to start sailing again. Jo-De7 is now ready to race tomorrow with new clothes and a clean bottom.

HI South,
yep, she is on the market. I am surprised at the amount of overseas enquiries, I would of thought our remoteness to ..well nearly everyone.. would be a bit of an obstacle, but it doesn't appear to be the case. Problem is the Trans Tasman has just been announced for next year and I'm reading over the entry requirements and thinking hmmm, maybe if I just hold off a leeetle bit longer..(no! bad shaggy, naughty shaggy) .

What's going on there Jode ? I guess you have optioned for a radio cut main? Looks like a line right in the guts of the sail?

Hey Shaggy, I heard there is a shortage of used yacht stock in Europe, mainly cruising and potentially live aboard. Probably similar to the toilet paper syndrome, people buying boats cause they can't spend their money on jetting around the world.

G'day Stockie,
Yeah it's weird, I would of sworn Covid-era was a bad time to sell but hopefully not. As you said, maybe peoples are getting cabin fever and re-directing their funds now that certain markets are closed off? There is local interest as well, but if she does go I'm hoping it's a cool location so I can wangle a ride on the delivery .

I went for a redial cut this time. 1/2 the cost of a Norths sail. My previous Norths 3DL sail which cost $28,000 only got 4 years and completely delaminated. I think the line in the sail is just the light on the sail as it looks good in real life. The luff tension is loose as we have let the Cunningham off for the down wind run. We also did a small recut last week so we will see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm not so sure your boat is what people are looking for right now, from what I'm seeing. 6ft + head room. Solar self contained with the white picket fence to hold the dog and children in so we can live the dream just like all the utube videos we have been watching. White boats and racing boats are slowing in sales as they are mostly just toys. Good luck if you do get a nibble anyway shaggy.

the marine sector in se QLD is going nuts at the moment with everyone booked up for work and no stock available we are turning down work every second day cant get trained staff
my guess is people arent doing overseas trips and corana cruises so are spending money locally

Yacht sales have been crazy in the last few weeks. All the good boats on my saved list are disappearing. I don't know what I will do if I suddenly win the lottery!
Once COVID-19 clears we are going to be absolutely flooded by the numbers of yachts for sale!

Come on Boty, keep it looking original, a nice set of canvas sails would look great. Very happy with our new sails, doing 8knots to windward today in 10 to 12 knots breeze.

I think I know what I like about your boat Jode. It looks balanced, like all the lines are where they should be.
And she has a plump behind .
