After years of progression in SUP surfing, I have been riding performance boards for the past year.
I love my 9'4 Acid and 8'10 Flow, however, at 69 years old and 235 lbs (105kg), I simply find it too hard to ride them challenging conditions or winter gear.

Last fall I designed this board with winter gear in mind, but sat on it over the winter.
I finally asked Tino & Bert what they thought, and here it is!

My thought process:
The 9'2 Skate is my most stable board, so I took the nose and mid board outline from that.
Plus, I wanted the mid-board turning of a curvy rail line.
The tight carve of the Speeed tail is my absolute favorite, so I took this tail off the 9'2 Speeed
I love the nose kick and performance rocker on my Acid, so this board got all that.

Voila: Performance with stability!

5 sessions on it.... all either chest to head high in howling winds (25-35 mph) or tiny, gutless shin slappers.
It surfs MUCH smaller than the 9'4 length... I couldn't be happier with the results.

Here is my mock-up.... I simply photoshopped body parts from the 9'2 Skate and 9'2 Speeed
Bert approved the premise, added his "shaper magic" to the rail foils, bottom contours and rocker lines, and the "Creek" was made!

I requested a "retro 50's hot rod" color fade.... cuz I figured a custom should get a special look.
Please watch the video to see how amazing it all came together.

Huge thanks to Tino, Bert and Dylan... plus all the folks at "the Board Factory" that made this piece of art for me!

oh yeah.... it is now a model in the Sunova line

Sizing soon.... this may get a very special treatment of sizes and color.... when I know, you will know!

Awesome looking board STC. Well deserved hope your getting a cut of the sales. I'd like one in the 8'8 x 120 ltr range thanks but maybe in blue not keen on the shark bait orange around these parts. Surprised you didnt name it the pimp lol. Look forward to seeing some footage in some bigger waves.

I love my 8'10 Flow... in fact, I was finalizing a video on it today!

The first thing I thought when I rode the Creek, was "wow... very similar to my Flow!"
Stoked to have a board that will give me similar performance, when I need the extra stability!

My Flow will still get a lot of play when it's clean and pumping.
That's the beauty of a good quiver.... there's always just the right board!

She who must be obeyed won't let me buy another board (something about being on the pension) and I'm still in deep for buying my 9'5 speeed 5 months ago. So if there are any free samples going for testing purposes only of course. I'll have it.

Great job STC. A lot of thought went in to the "creek", I can see that. Just got my flow wet for the first time. I get what you've been carrying on about now.

Thanks Tardy.

So people don't get the idea that the Creek shares any similarities with the 32XL.... it does not!
I have surfed them both and they couldn't be more different.

Are we beginning to see the emergence of a new professional rider in the surfing industry...the common man? Although creek you are more than the common man, you are pushing the limits in another direction, the human body. You should add a Tagline to the board...something like...'my shoulders are ****ed, and i can't tuck my shirt into my pants but I can ride this thing all day long'
