Mini DW from Mornington to Frankston.
Good effort Dave.
Not a very nice day on the Island
SW winds are always bad on the Island, hope the legs better?

Nah, wound weeping, scared enough of consequences to follow medical advice so far.........
Nice empty first outing for prowave 8'4 I picked up cheap! Bit chilly, incentive to not fall in. 104 litres surprisingly easy even with full winter gear...
Something different today, boat hire with group and paddled around Mud Island in the middle of Port Phillip Bay!
A slow weekend in Melbs
you have too much spare time during the week Deanrobi...
SUP Surfed some unbelievable waves late morning for Metro Perth.
The power and perfection of the Cyclone swell was really something you have to have surfed today to really understand the froth level I am feeling right now!
6ft A-Frame Perfection with offshore winds grooming the face, got some absolute crackers.
You know you are doing well when short boarders are hooting and whistling as you fly past them!
No pics but I am sure the Internet will have a lot of pics from today.
Super fun waves this morning, had a nice reefy peak to myself for the best part of an hour - pretty hard to believe on Good Friday but ill take it.
Could just sit on the button and get into them nice and early.
Really gave me a chance to dial in my backhand attack, had some wins with footwork and just general timing that comes with only chasing lefts the whole session
Funnily enough when some of the crew ended up coming over for a look the waves shut down...
Hey SW did ya get out at our local ?
Shot from last Sunday Cyclone swell
Hey Fester, sure did mate!
Best SUP session I have had so far - big, clean and long, was blown away by that swell.
Was expecting the crowd to be a bit more vicious but where I was late morning they were pretty mellow, everyone had a crack at good waves.
Special Day!
Looks like you're ready to move your feet into more of a "surf stance" ??
Tried that today SGO and spent most of the 2 hrs hire board time in the water, crowds were out of control and the NSP 10'6 x 32 wide is so tippy compared to my 10 x 33 Mana that the chop factor today made it very difficult to do everything.
i resorted to surfing the larger sets on my knees which gave me some satisfaction and the rest of the time was not the most fun to be had.
Cant wait to get back to my own gear and away from the crowds on a DWer or a quiet small wave that no one cares about, up here they want to catch everything!
Your a long way north Dave ...crowds in noosa ,,,yeah ..i paddled with my daughter and a few friends ...low low tide .full mOOn.
Looks a lot less crowded there Tardy!!! Tides are huge here with the full moon and has washed most of the beach away this year!
After months of onshore winds, we had some glassy conditions yesterday... I am totally rusted, and my waist line have seen better days ... but it was as refreshing as a cold beer after a day in the sun!
And as it was unexpected, I was alone on the peak on an easter sunday afternoon...
Got the all clear from the surgeon yesterday - OK to get wet!
Take it easy, light duties only.
Started off with a sit down paddle
Second go on an OC1.
New skills to learn...
I think I'm hooked......
Sunday at Ventnor - sit down paddle.
Monday at Half Moon Bay.
Sit down....
And upside down.....
Today stand up at Beaui...
Waterways estate lake happened to be quite a discovery. About 400m flat water long , dog friendly, and you can paddle till dark. Perfect after work quiet paddle.

About as good as it gets Colas!
Frigates Pass - Vitu Levu - Southern Fiji.
Closer to you Australians than us Seppos. Sunday "4 ft" between Cyclones.
