I know it was in this thread somewhere, but am too lazy to go
through 60+ pages...
where are people sourcing covers/bags for these beasts?
10 foot Ocean & Earth or most other hardware companies.
Custom made by Surf Aids In Byron they will custom make any cover at a good price.
Thanks Macaha,
I should've more specific re: 11' and 12' boards.
I'll check out Surf Aids. Boardsox apparently do custom too, but haven't responded to any of my emails yet.
Cheers!

Surf aids will have one made in a week mate nice easy people to deal with but be prepared they require a bucket load of measurements
I saw the measurement form - got to wait unti I have a few hours spare, by the look of it! At least is should fit properly...
Thinking of getting side plugs installed in my 10 footer.
Just buy a new board with side bites

Naha say no to new boards

If you think the board design may suit a 2+1 set up (or twin fin, if that's what you're thinking), then it sounds like a good idea!

The idea is to run a smaller centre and side bites to loosen it up.
All the years I've been keeping my eyes out for a Munoz glider, and now that I've got my hands on one, they seem to be everywhere.
for anyone interested, was just in Underground Surf In Noosa. They have a ex-demo 11' Munoz in the TLPC for $1650. Given that it's ex demo (but looked new from what I saw), there may be wiggle room on the price?
My 5 board post is called smart or lean manufacturing ask me I'm an expert but no match for China who wiped out my industry 15 years ago. I had to pay award and above wages, insurance and tax on tax all while getting screwed by massive retailers on price due to cheap imports flooding the market, then they stopped ordering Australian made once they bleed the industry dry. No rant just a fact and it's a fact of life for all the Australian manufacturing sector. I believe people take issue with this when talking pop outs not so much the board itself.
Mac , your beef should be with australian governments following UN agendas. One of those is world wealth distribution
They didnt want you manufacturing locally.
Your business model now is what they wanted you to do.
Its crap i know
i agree ,since the 80's deregulation we have all been sold down the river

It was the right move on my Sea Plane, without question.... really small centre... just like the one I bought off you, actually
interestingly, when I've hired large boards In Waikiki, I'd always thought they'd be under-finned as they almost always ran a reasonably small centre with sides. Clearly the crew at KBS know what they're doing!
Maca was a big lover of two big sides and a little shark fin for the centre
I ran shapers s9 with a shark fin in my hp board (bit bigger than a nubstet) and it was such a good set up for that board, was also good in my allrounder
So try an even smaller centre fin and see how it goes ....or not
My old Cruiser model was a two plus one set up and that board was amazing at 1o foot.
I'm finding the FB same length lacks performance compared to the Cruiser and as I'm not
buying any new boards thought I could ad side bites.

Maybe there's more going on than just fins.i to like the cruiser model, for me it's about volume and the cruisers rocker,I haven't ridden one but have had many FBs ,if I was to get another longboard it would a cruiser.
What is a standard width of a 10fter ??

Still loving the 12' Munoz. Actually haven't ridden any other board since buying it. It's certainly got it's place, not well suited to all conditions, but untouchable in small swell. I'll probably put it away this week and get back to my other boards... and probably regret every time I don't take it to the beach!
love it so much that I still want the 11' version to go with it!

Yeah sounds good but be warned surfing those 10 plus boards all the time will screw up you surfing.

I get what you are saying Mac,but for me it improved my surfing, very bad shoulders ect knee paddling keeps me in the water, and the longer boards slow me down by working style and technique, but you do need to work on sharing
