Heres the new Sugar.
Damn, that looks good.
Yes however it pretty much came out as a standard sugar which is not what I ordered so a remake is in the works.

Let me know if you ever want to move it on Macha

Oh ok mate
Gents,
Selling my Pieter "Basic Mal" model. Its a great board in as new condition. Dimensions are 10 x 23.5 x 3.25
It has a pigment on the top with resin tint bottom and pinline. Comes as a 2 plus 1 with a handmade white fin to go with the board made by Pieter. Would suit a new buyer. If anyone is interested or knows someone who maybe just shoot me a message on here.
Interested if still available.
Took some discussions but here is a creative army jive plus no edge !
Why? well my go to board is a 9'6 version..fast snappy and fun. Round pin tail with edge and an 11 inch fin.
I said to Josh mate make me this same board but 10 foot and no edge...so it is technically a log but will slow her down a little for the days when you want less speed.
Same rocker same outline just a little less groove
Since I picked it up a week ago we have had almost no waves but stay tuned :)
Enjoy
Jas
Picked up this lovely locally made 10' Epoxy board by a guy named Steve McLean who shapes around here. I know absolutely nothing about the board but looks great and can't wait to get it in the water.
I haven't started building it yet, but it's going to be a 10'2"
will be starting the build in about 2 weeks time.

How about a board build thread on this one Locky if you have the time.

Yep no worries Mac.. I can do it as I go, which would be over say 3 weekends. Or could do like a step-by-step at the end??
Happy either way.
Definitely remember the thrill of anticipation, when about to build a new board !Locky where's this one headed ,noserider, glider ,hybrid?look forward to seeing it

Am thinking another nose rider?
once I pull the blank down, I'll have a look at it and decide then.
I just wanted to let the cedar dry out a bit as I didn't want any leaching from it.
what ever I go with, it's going to be another clear Volan, to show off the stringer.
(possibly a deck patch as well)
Locky definitely a post as you go thread!
Can't wait to see the finished result. Your other boards have been stunning.
New glider by Ash Ward under his Petal to the metal brand. Specs are 11'2, 24, 3 3/8. 1/4"cedar stringer, clear volan cut lap deck and near the fin with a gloss coat & polish finish.
Heres the new Sugar.
OHH sweet baby Jesus!!!!
Stunning

Beautiful! Can you reveal $$$
Around $2,300 with a 11" fin. It's partially machined off Ash's shapes from his Eagle Sword hand shaped boards.
Following SurfAnimals advice, I finally got my hands on a 11' Munoz.
I'd post pics, but people are familiar with what they look like, and it's nothing to look at compared to the other boards in this thread.
I'd been holding out for an old tech model, based on one I hired a few times a number of years ago. Based on SurfAnimal's report, I dropped the coin on a new one.
Got to say, not only did it live up to expectations, it exceeded them! It's going to be hard to chose to ride any other board now.
Nice work mate. The best board you could ride without doubt.
You may well have also got one of the last ones too as I believe the mould is no longer after over 20 years in use and finally falling apart.
I've been told that the board / model has now been retired from manufacture
