The Cream rose to the top of the ladder very quickly this year... GWS will slowly slide down there too!! But I rate them.

I had hoped that Gold Coast would have given Freeo a better battle!

We are a happy team at hawthorn
We are the mighty fighting hawks
We love our club and we play to win
Riding the bumps with a grin at hawthorn
Come what may you will find us striving
Team work is the thing that talks
One for all and all for one
Is the way we are at hawthorn
We are the mighty fighting hawks .

Ock, I'm spewing I missed the Demons match on TV... Very positive signs at the moment... I get that feeling that the players are starting to lift, and play as a team... Work for each other, etc...

Yeh Pup there was a quite a bit of hoot'n and hollar'in going on at home when the siren sounded ...
Simondo as well as improving skills and game plan, confidence is growing within the playing group
Tux watts has got to get down and get amongst the game, he may have some good skills but without desire to commit he won't give himself the opportunity to display them
Big surf tues on the coast but windy, looking ok though in tucked away spots...

I saw the score and then looked on line to see where Cats are on ladder.
I was expecting them to be basement.
To my surprise they were only a few positions below Swans.
That'll do me for AFL talk for a while.

Nice one boys!! I could not help myself n had to SMS him whilst the game was on and all my other Cats supporting mates! To be honest when I saw the score at half time I freaked - the full time score shocked me more.

Let me rule some excuses out....

Swans had 13 days off, cats had travelled to Perth.

Sydney get a living allowance...

There was about 10 of them, I cant remeber the others, i work with a cats supporter and he was straight onto it this morning...

I eventually had to tell him, I'm from NSW and really don't give a Fark....

Ok, I'll stretch my AFL talk a touch longer.
For the record, the score as follows.

Swans 22-16-148 vs Cats 5-8-38

I won't even comment on the 16 behinds.
