I always thought they looked more like some sort of slater or beetle. I remember traveling across the Nullabor as a13 yr old in it with them. It was so different to dads HQ statio It may as well have been a space ship. It was so quiet the only noise was the was the power steering and the a/c fan, it probably had more than 3 gears too

Yes.....he does use an old Bonga Perkins sup as a longboard.......but whatever......I see goat boaters and sups and body boarders and long boarders and short boarders catching waves.....will leave the role of Nazi fascist surf commandant to you

Ah Coolum, spent a bit of time up there,my mate lives behind Coolum beach back up over the hill. He's got a green and white 56 Caddy Coupe de Ville and a white HJ Kingswood wagon.Very nice Chevy pickup but I don't know why he's got 59 Chev on the number plates because it's a 55,maybe he's got a 59 Impala at home

Nice one Al, dig the EH panno, still lusting after one. Was searching for one as a young bloke and ended up with a HR panel an instead. It was heaps of fun. Not as good as the HG/t/k in the sand though.

I don't live or work there, but as the crow flies, it's not too far from Mascot, certainly under 10 kliks.

But it peak hour, it could take you a bit of time.

There are other options, like a train into Redfern another to Newtown and then a short taxi ride to Annandale, there may even be a direct train from the air port to Newtown.

Another option is a train to Central and a bus that goes along the Parramatta Rd.

But all of these option would need a lot of stuffing around and like the Brisbane Airport link train, it's privately operated and they really touch you up for a fare.

So in the end, the Taxi is probably the way to go.
