Yep certainly do,when I was living at Kirra my mates where renting a house next to where the pub was(one of them owned the Coolangatta ice creamery),good old days those ones

It all changed when all the ring ins arrived from the big smoke,turned our little surf hang outs into night clubs followed by drugs bad drugs,meat heads,gangs,creed,the place turned to sh-t and people wonder why I load Surfers Paradise,well I'm not alone most locals hate the places its full of crap 24/7.

I lived in Surfers people stealing pot plants and furniture from balconies early 80's I really cant see that the place has improved

Byron being the the worst. Byron leaves surfers for dead when it comes to scum. Which makes me sad. Used to love going for a party down there.
