I sincerely hope that doesn't turn into something obscene like Coolangatta , why are councils so determined to ruin iconic locations.

Might have to remove this one from my bucket list of want to visit places now

It's probably on it's way Pup ,there's a few popping up just over the northern headland from Yaroomba, commonly known as Coolum!..
The coast drive from Coolum to Noosa when I was up there years ago, there where lots of houses and resorts being built in those areas.
Don't know what it's like now but can imagine there is a lot more?...
I'de say it would take a long time to get to Cooly status though!...

this ****s me
I've handed out pamphlets about how mining companies wanted to build another coal port up here.
only to be told by some locals Fark off greenie, ha never voted green in my life.

we have a port but the fillthy greedy companies wanted another so they could get coal out quicker
now look a mining slump and the clowns in ACT were going to give the go head.

glad i got to surf Bells and watch many a heat without that ****.

this reminds me of ulus in the mid 80s & sunshine coast in the late 70s.

Byron is about the best over exposed surf spot that has stopped the development push extremely well
hope they keep it up

Yeah read that Ted ...over priced clothing ..high over heads for retailers ...online shopping ...plus family costs with housing education etc means the dollar is really stretched and surf wear is a want not a need ...maybe there is a opening for a budget type surf label . Bryning Spears was pretty cheap in its day retailing from Currumbin ...

^^^^ I have not read it yet.

But I blame the bong a co for the death of the local surfers shop...

How anyone thought what they were doing was a good idea has me bamboozled

I think it's rubbish. On my tablet it's OK, on my desktop I have not looked yet.....but on my phone it is about 10 steps backwards, and since most of my breeze is done on the phone....well I have better things to do. Have fun crew

Cobra I too like the old system because as I said old persons it looks fresh because its less busy hence the use of the term fresh.I guess we will all get the hang of it.

Thats heavy...looks like he was pinned against the side of the reef with the current or under a ledge & didn't come up until the water sucked back the other way.
