the history books will say it was a close game and a great finish......I would suggest that Australia got battered except for one exceptional partnership between two unlikely heroes - Hughes and Agar. Without that partnership the game was over inside 3 days.
Perhaps on reflection England are not as good as I thought and Australia are not as bad as I thought....but whilst the top 5 continue to splutter Aust hopes of winning are zip.....England hold the Ashes which means Australia needs to win not draw the series - so going 1 down means you have to win at least 2 and have the other 2 as draws.....can not see it. To me the Ashes have already been decided but we should have a very good series of entertaining cricket. I love the long form of the game - so many ebs and flows.........a joy to watch. Just wish I did not have to work this month so I could just stay up late and watch it every night and flick to the Tour as well. Life just isn't fair
Close game...until the top 6 get some consistency we are not going to do any better than getting close...sneaking the odd win...Shane Watson should hang his head...Australia need him to get big scores and get them often...if he can't start cracking some tons send him to teh IPL and forgte about him...
**** me a kiwi that supports qld, manly and the poms....
Can't wait.. Bring on the cricket and tour... Sleep is overrated
Well SP all my dreams have come at once this evening.......I love a good multi....England into Manly 13+ into Qld 1-12
Ted your a knob, can I borrow a fiddy mate yeeeew
For sure Chrispy but how about we put it on England into Manly over the Titians and turn it into $137?
what a night of tele !! lords test !! and the mountain stage in the tour!!!
i was just thinking about the English openers name , Joe root . if his first name was Edward then in the score book it could appear like
root ed . LBW
yeah - lucky he did as otherwise you boys were in some serious trouble......looks like a pretty even position now with no team on top and 4 days of exciting cricket to go......bring it on

The new ball locks great in slow mo / freeze frame shots . Would be great to here the noise as it whizzes through the air .
Can still remember that sound from junior cricket days .
With all the vidio tech going on the audio tech needs to catch up !
Just wondering , last night I thought England had a player named Joe root , was I mistaken or has he a brother named Billy root ?
Does that meen we have two roots ?

and a broad to do it with
i heard that when warnie balled the ball, it would fizz in the air.
i reckon his showmanship was about 40% of his wickets.
then you had heals behind the stumps saying stuff like' warnie he's got no idea'.
its one thing to get bowled out by a fast bowler, but to be made to look like a fool by warnie in his prime was another thing.
Was warnie in his prime when he was going through his fat Elvis period,or after his mum helped him to drop pills?
I think I prefer the fatter old red headed blonde peroxide westie Warnie instead of today's metrosexual Warnie.
Was warnie in his prime when he was going through his fat Elvis period,or after his mum helped him to drop pills?
Not sure , carnt remember . But I think he was in form from the word go !
Then got vain later and try too get thin .
Was warnie in his prime when he was going through his fat Elvis period,or after his mum helped him to drop pills?
haha that was one of the funniest things I've ever heard champion at the time geez mumsy's diuretics hahaaaa

he is in his prime now......earning more than ever and banging Elizabeth. Legend
Exactly!
I may not agree with everything WArnie has ever done but I have nothing but utmost respect for his achievements
Good to see Watson go - if it wasn't the over before lunch it would have been the first or second after.....he hates breaks and he hates scoring more than 50
Can someone pleaser explain why Mister I can not land a Punch David Warner is playing centre fiddle in the advertisements on CH 9 backup channel this evening?
I had Clark as highest run scorer in Aust first innings and he goes for 28 whilst looking so good - Watson got 30
Wow almost time for some.enthralling day four action. The Aussie might need to get their best player in form, what is his name again. Thunder storms that's him,he will provide a good result. Go Mr thunder storms for captain
