I think I've only not surfed about 4 days in the last 3 weeks & there have been plenty of others doing the same. There are more people walking around, riding & hanging down the beach than spring/summer. Is it to our detriment? No, quite the opposite.

I'm not saying precautions should not be taken to avoid the virus. I'm saying a lot of the restrictions are over the top. I feel sorry for you guys...& peoples response has surprised me. Its disappointing to see people forgo their freedoms so easily. Some appear to be almost celebrating it.

I won't respond right now m8 coz I'd prefer to have more of a grand total comparison of data to disscuss. But for reasons I won't go into, I don't agree we've seen a massive death toll as a result of C19.

Its not about how I'm thinking about C19 m8...I'm concerned about our future freedoms. I keep saying it, I feel the restrictions are over the top when people are getting in trouble for activities that are not putting themselves or others at risk.

What gets me is the "what if", putting yourself at risk.
It's normally legal to jump out of small aeroplanes with some fabric tied to your back.
Yet we're not meant to go in the water because we are putting ourselves at risk.
Where I go out, if I get in to trouble, no one is coming to look for me, and I don't expect them to.
I'm not sure what my point was there, but it seemed good when I started.
