Mick,

Quote: If we keep responding like this the worlds going to be farked.

In actual fact the world is going to be better.

Only the biggest plague on the face of the planet is going to be culled - humans.

Out of all the species that exist none other than homo erectus has caused more environmental damage. Our dominion and numbers which continue to rise at alarming rates ensure that we strip bare finite resources.

And when so.ething comes along to keep us in check we cry victim and disaster. All from a singular human perspective.

Have a look around at how nature is bouncing back. Wild animals in cities, clearer skies and waterways. What we call a disaster is a saving grace for humanity.

Our exponential rise in numbers and the damage we have been able to cause has been profound. And despite our best efforts politically through to individual and personal action we damage more than we restore.

Yes we are farked. And yes one day we will look back on these events and ask what would have happened if nature did not keep us in check?

I'm afraid that this virus is likely the tip of the iceberg.

This isn't anything to do with nature it's a manufactured virus made by humans in a lab.

Ride it out mate we are so lucky here those wankers at Burleigh yesterday those hipsters will stretch it out longer. Restaurants another 4 weeks away no international travel until 2021. I could go on with the negative crap but I don't want to sound like LACEY and his BM Mick

In NZ we have no new cases today for the first time since lockdown began, so hopefully if we keep doing the right thing we will beat it.
Since we dropped to level 3, I've been on the water 3 times; windsurfing and sup surfing. When the waves are good I love surfing my 8'4" or family 9'0" and hopefully soon.
My local beach is a regional park with access to carpark closed so in the weekend cars over spilling 2 km up local roads. Even this morning driving 1 km with carpark full and fluked a good park but a mission- Rant Over. I got some waves but after 6 weeks was a bit wobbly to start with.
