That Mct noserider looks a bargain, the guy must be a freakin kook to burn a beautiful piece of hardware like that only to be an even bigger kook and ride a SUP. I do try and embrace all forms of wave riding but boogs on slow peeling point breaks and sups anywhere just give me the ****s...
Actually, i'm quite tempted to try and buy that in addition to the CW if I can get it shipped to Tas... hmmmm... #boardwhore
So will having a CW and a Mct in the same quiver throw out the balance of the universe or bring the universe to balance, kinda ying and yang... hmmm
Actually, I probably shouldn't further stir the pot hahaha, sorry

then you can get a Tshirt with McT on the front and CW on the back.
dont put the McT print on the back as you will get knifes in your back.

what a mct print on the front needs to go with it is one of these when you release how much you have paid for a name
I don't know if it's just my imagination, but that vid shows an interesting phenomenon that's probably peculiar to all logs or slower boards, especially if there's a bit of fin on them.
Blink and you'll miss it, but between 51 and 52 seconds you can see the board move a little more to tuck in against the wall. Nothing special about that, but what is strange is the it seems to happen with no input from the rider, other than him trimming and relieving weight from the tail.
I'm guessing this shows a sort of "tipping point" where the forward speed and energy of the wave against the fin and the edge of the board, simply works to assist the rider.
Can anyone else see it? or did I just have a few too many last night?
geez obct your sure hit it last night
I notices as the rider had taken his back foot off the board to walk forward and taking the weight off the rear of the board, the board slid down until weight was added once his foot touched deck again.
I see what your saying obct, its like the rail hits the wave and is kinda suctioned onto the face. Its the ocean physics of the water flowing over the rounded surface and creating hold as discussed by Tom W in the Noseriding Tips post I made earlier. There is also this super weird fin base someone is using that uses this principle for even better NR hold...

Pretty crazy stuff...
Its probably also helps that Wispy is a dang sweet surfer
