2. its not for McT to tell you what to get Ummm you should know or have some idea.
like i said my 2cents

I disagree - if you are putting down that much coin - McT should at least have some confidence in recommending a board from their range - otherwise they should offer to make you a custom or send you to someone who can. Or if what you are asking for is not a practical solution for what they think you want then they should point out the reasons why in a nice manner and then take your cash.

I would think that McT would do the right thing though.

you disagree Ted.

So tell us what your experience with the McT people has been like when ordering boards from them

well i can tell you what my service was like.
i think i went into every board shop in Byron and noosa this month and McT gave the best information on their
range i thought their product and service was the best and that was why i purchased my FIRST Mct board

Well if you read carefully Weiry - I disagreed with your comment not McT - and only said good things about McT. In fact if you really read into what I was saying - I was saying that the issue would probably be more with Andyroo, without actually saying it out loud - who since then has said

"Mct have been way helpful, i'm being difficult" which is what I was implying.

I have dealt with McT this month on another matter concerning a board and I can say that they have been nothing short of fantastic. Hence why I said that "I would think that McT would do the right thing." All my previous experiences with McT have been fantastic as well. They really have the service thing down pat - a lot of people could learn from them.

Nothing against you what so ever Andyroo - more just trying to say that McT would do the best for the customer. I just think that if someone is putting over their hard-earned that the board shop has a responsibility to make sure they give the customer exactly what they want and if the customer is unsure then they should advise to the best of their ability based on their knowledge. Sometimes / often you need the advice of the shop to make sure you get the best board. Why not use their knowledge to your advantage. I aways do. McT have no shortage of knowledge in this area! I am sure you will find the best board for what you are after by doing yr homework. This site can be very good for helping people get that extra info they seek. I have learnt lots from what some have posted on here.

Right ...... that's a double beer fine ............ sixpack of full strength piss in stubbies - you have been penalised under section 1 - paragraphs I & II ..... " Petulance , Oral Flatulence and or Continuing to be a McTavish slapper of the wickedest and or dastardlyest order" ..... you may appeal but given your recent poor discipline & flaccidity , I shall double the fine if / when proven guilty

jeebus!!! the dog in front must be the personification of concentration

fancy him still being able to work on technique while he's under such close scrutiny.

that would really put me off my game if i was trying to snap off a length

Thanks for posting macaha, I was begining to think this thread would never get interesting or informative

ha, classic case of rich hi society snobby mctavish owners getting sh1tty and using fascist bully boy tactics to suppress 'we' the common punters who can get classy boards at a realistic price.

the revolution has started.

You have been sanctioned under section 2 - paragraph c ...... "flouting and or flaunting possibly even flirting around the edges of grouse Oz Shaper treason AND showing blatant signs of wafting in the realms of fantasy"

The Prez has just got off the VanStraalenphone - he has indicated that he will drop in on you 8 times in rapid succession & on the 6th time he will remove your bra strap & slap you with it on the 7th
