You're loss pay up, for next time, i don't start work till 9 ish so go longer

Mac get a Surfsafe mate.. Its that easy.. But also with the amount of sharks sighted/reported Yesterday, i wouldn't have surfed today.

At least the crowds should be not so bad come January for my trip

Lets hope he pulls through okay. Bad news anyway you look at it IMHO

Mac would need to become a shareholder with the number of boards he owns per year

Sux coz I'd always seriously considered Ballina to be the place I'd retire...might opt for Southern Japan instead, at least any GW that happened by would likely end up in a local sushi restaurant

Found the following on the net (of course). What a crop of sh1t

Your chances of being attacked by a shark are just one in 11.5 million, according to the University of Florida's International Shark Attack File. On average, there are about 65 shark attacks worldwide each year; a handful are fatal. You are more likely to be killed by a dog, snake or in a car collision with a deer.Aug 2, 2010

Edit: Clearly global stats mean fark all. Stats should be restricted to countries or local regions within countries to give a more accurate reading. Wonder what the chance of a shark attack is around Ballina atm.

Its $400 bucks. IN my opinion I'm worth more than that, so honestly no biggie for me..I worked on the principle of having one fitted into a "Allrounder" type of board. That way on those early days, or over cast days id ride that board. I was thinking of getting another fitted before coming over to Byron but think ill maybe even buy a third long board here and get one fitted in that also, so i have three in total, for me and my two kids.. The risk is still incredibly low, but the confidence it provides in the line up, makes my surf much better. If my wife had her way, she would have two fitted in each board

Seriously guys in WA have unto 5 boards, each with one installed. I know for a fact, they don't feel concerned in the water anymore.

I'd rather be riding a moto down the Main Street of Ballina in lightning storm holding a bee hive then going for an early up that way at the moment

Bang Bang fish & chips for a year it's that simple - can't see & will not believe that some flimsy little device will ever save you from a charging homed in 4-5m plus Great White

Evans Head Classic is in October I think, wonder if this will affect numbers. Its getting to be a more common occurrence rather than a rarity, pretty frightening really, disregarding all these bull**** statistics.
