Hahaha. Thanks for the link Al.. I rememer a few of those posts. Your a funny bugger Chrispy.. That was from a time where people had fun in here. It was a different place to the modern incarnation of the greenroom.

This one works best for me, it must be like training wheels on a bike with my limited skill level.
I'd ride pins more if we had points.. Does the evo come in a square tail aswell?

Yeah but the context of those post is/ was not what they are being passed of as. Most of those are from the old days. Before Admin ever came inhere and just left us to have fun. All post were hijacked, hanging **** on people was funny and everyone was more relaxed. the vibe has changed in here in the past few years, especially the last 12 months.

Yeah I understand that SP,I don't mind having fun and hanging sh1t either but when I'm told I'm a "naughty boy",haha, for posting pics of bikini girls by a hypocrite who does the same thing, well that's funny hey.I don't go by this "do what I say and not what I do sh1t !....
Can't put the whole quiver together, but here's what's arrived or been renovated in the last year or so.....
No, PSH long dead and gone.
I have a thing for them too, not sure why.
The name, the brand, the philosophy just appealed.
Trying to resist buying every surviving PSH in the wild.............

Yes I did hear that happened years ago but not being in the loop.
Thanks for the kind words boys; appreciated
Some beautiful boards posted too. Very nice lads.
Loved the pic of the OC1 too. So much fun but terrible for the back unless endless hours to hone technique !
Can't believe Blane Chambers went bust with PSH after being right at the pointy end of SUP popularity. Really ?
I had a Wide Ripper and loved it. Wonder if the fact he went down the Boardworks epoxy track was his downfall ?

The OC 1 I have been interested in for a couple of years, purchase prompted by having a melanoma cut off my calf.
Decided to not die wondering, and I saw it as a possibly quicker way back in the water with post surgery water ban of 4 - 6 weeks.
I went for the OC1 over a ski or kayak because I reckon the seating position is better for the back - I have a history of lower back problems.
The post surgery thing didn't come off - reality of a pretty big wound that refused to heal kept me out.
Been out on it half a dozen times so far, taking it easy, and not two days in a row, and doing the back exercises I am meant to anyway, so far so good, and fun factor high - down wind / down waves surfing great, tendency to flip without warning taking a bit of getting used to.
PSH I have heard from someone who probably doesn't really know was financial naitivity in bringing in a partner - if a deal sounds too good to be true it generally is. But I have heard from someone who does know that Blane Chambers is still shaping boards in Hawaii.
Hi SA, you certainly have an amazing quiver, envious. Are you still riding the Vouch Vish? I know there was an old thead, but wondering how you feel about the board now? I've just come across the Vish recently & am thinking about pulling the trigger on 1. Any feedback g/appreciated, cheers, LT

Hi mate.
The Vish is an amazing board. Silky smooth with great trim speed.
I bought the twin keel set up firstly but didn't like the slipping on steeper sections so we put one together as a single and that did the trick.
I'd absolutely recommend them as they work in 1 foot just as well as 5 foot and everything in between
Thanks very much SA, thats good info. Sounds like set up as a single, or 2+1 maybe the go, rather than the twin keel.
This little fella came my way last week..not a longboard by any stretch but maybe something I can have fun on...when I get old...er
Mainly it's a Cooper and that's what I collect
Cool SB,I might borrow it off ya after I have my Hip Op
Sure Al..just need time to do a little work on it ..a few gouges and bit of foam missing and delamed bottom tail to repair.
But like the old Bert Newton said...
" I like the boy "...fark that's so old..

Nice quiver of Cooper'. Any specific reason you collect them.
Just that I have an interest in old/retro boards SP and Bob Cooper/Richie West ( Greenough Crystal Voyager) were the best manufacturer on the Coffs Coast when I moved here from the smoke back in the early 80's. All those boards are similar, yet totally different from each other and show the transition through the 70's into the 80's.
Always interested in shapes/rails/concaves etc....a sick fetish some might say..

Do you think Mr Ali should have been happy with that comment al mate ?
That old Moonface comment was a staged scenario Chrispy my good man. Afro-Americans detested being called boy as it was degrading...but you probably knew that..but it made for good TV back then..
All my boards are my boys..

Collecting vintage boards does become a bit of an obsession / fetishish. Always interesing to hear why people collect what.
Great quiver.
