morning pup 12c here ATM 530AM twas hot last night for us any way , think I rather but up with some cold . It's a bit sureal surfed Kiakoura for the last time yesterday blasing sun snow on the hills . Life can be good morning all
Morning TB & all .... mate we've got a couple more days of 40 degree jobs to go yet & a half dead cyclone spinning down the coast so anything could happen later this week .... Let's get this show on the road for 2013 bad wind here another two days in the south island then on the ferry , take my mew baby home . Been parked up at Blenheim race coarse $5 a night no surf on east coast terrable wheather on the west so just bumming around here listening to Coldplay .morning all

Am the only one awake but the morning is beautiful. Sunlight is streaming through the trees as I sit on the deck overlooking the old orchard. Had my best surf in over a year on dec 31st....Happy days!

Hope you getting a few waves on your side of the country...this time last year I had me some beauties down at Lefties...infact tom is the 1 yr anniversary of my mates wedding - we surfed perfect but small Lefties around lunchtime before I managed to fin chop the back of my leg and would have missed the wedding had I not got some backyard surgery in Gracetown! Meant I did not surf the rest of the trip sadly 
Morning pup chrispy mac ted the great OB simondo smh asea/indian oh sh!t Lacey came across the water last night on the home island again parked up two hours north of Wellington on grandaughters front lawn .Work on monday full time for a week let some others take holidays man that will be hard . Still this is the longest break I have had in 25yrs so can't complane .Hey Hey it's Friday
Drive safe that last bit home safe TB and make sure you stop in at my old place on Onehunga Road at Bay View for some apricots! Prime season right about now! So I am at buffet breaky this morning waiting for my toast to come through on the toast conveyer thingy and this bloke steps in to grab my toast.
I say "hang on mate I think (know) that's my toast. The bloke is Channel Nine's Ken Sutcliffe and he replies "Are you sure it's yours ?"
I say "Kenneth me boy, note that a corner is missing off both slices of toast".
I explain that I do this to avoid conflict.
He apologises and by all accounts a misunderstanding and a champion bloke he is.
It's amazing how tense it can be around that toaster at buffets.
I posted in Nov my near incident with an arrogant pr1ck at another buffet who stole my toast.
Jeepers Scotty - remind me never to mess with you over the toast! Tell KS to get back to work - does he not know that there is a test match on..............
Hey Mac - sounds like you will have some fun this w/e - Toowny sounds like a good fella - I have always enjoyed his responses / opinions / views. As for DW - well that bloke sounds like he is from yesteryear and the single fin contest will be a perfect fit for him! I think he leads one of the best lifestyles known to mankind

Ted yes looking forward to a wave early then hang around the comp always a top event these boys put on,funny thing is these guys take no prisoners in or out of the water,do the wrong thing and you will cop it big time,but they are also a great bunch of guy's and luckily for me I know a couple of the senior guys so that sure can help.

Here is a map - its about 2km off the main road - first one on the left after the airport (about 5 mins past) - opposite the Shell Servo if its still there and just before the soccer fields....Its the blue marked spot. Not sure what its called these days but it was "Rochevale Fruits" when we were there. Top spot. Let me know how you get on.
