Originally recommended about 8 weeks ago...the first 20 to 25 mins literally had me laughing my ass off, I was tearing up it was so funny...but then the gears changed when they felt they had you & a lot of opinions presented as factual truth soured the show & they stomped the propaganda gas pedal...ultimately ending with a couple of statements I personally strongly disagree with...

I do agree though, the first 20 to 25 mins is hilarious. What makes it extra interesting is Mr Jacksons personal beliefs vs the character he was paid to present here & that says a lot about what you hear these days. But in the end as always, yes its best to think for yourself...

Take it for what it is, a light entertainment TV show. .

I always prefer the English version over the American ones . Bit like 'shameless ', English version is so good,I found the American one to be very so so. I did like the American office though, but as you say the pom version is better

Also my dark secret is I love b grade kung fu movies, they are the best

Russ comes a'gutser... by Stu Nettle on Swellnet... With one wave under his belt and the size on the rise, Russ Bierke would've rightfully been feeling good about the upcoming session. Instead, he buried the nose on his second wave, skimmed down the face and into the path of the pitching lip. In his own words he, "got slammed hard on the bottom and my elbow found a sharp bit of reef." "Thankfully missed my arteries and muscle." Russ was helped from the water and out of his wetty by good mate Sean Mawson. And despite being the one with stitches he added, "I feel like some people don't take this place as seriously as they should." Footage by Andrew Kaineder and O'Neill Australia.

Thanks for PM...almost finished the US version, glancing the UK its a similar script. Quite like the US characters, will be interesting to see if the UK one grow on me the same way. Thinking possibly most saw the UK version first. Jokes are typically best the first time round

Yes watched th UK version first, can't watch the US one, just can't
You may feel the opposite after starting with the Yanks
Try your local library for the UK version, they may even be able to get in from another local one if not held

Thanks m8, already have all the UK episodes from the 2 series & look forward to watching them when I finish the US one. Maybe have another go at the US series, the character development is pretty bloody good. I'm expecting I will like the UK version as well the comedy is very similar...cheers

You have to take your hat off to Tom Brady and his ability to just keep producing. He is like the Kelly Slater of American football.
