Awesome. Lucky. Quality beachies can be hard to find here and they are so much fun.

Thanks for such an awesome pic. Makes me feel the Stoke.

Sharkie spot that one Drip - you would be right at home I surfed the peak after the comp finished. Fun but bumpy. Blew several waves as the board was not liking the chop and had to straighten out to avoid a bashing. Good fun though. Tides look good in the morning for dash down the beach to my favourite wave. Excited

Surprisingly solid today. My friend and I the only people out. Swapped 8' and 8'6" guns. Good fun although I did get washed in and have to do the walk back and jump off again. Interesting to see the very different approaches to boards for similar waves.

Two surfs. First smoking waves with three others. Small but super walls. I was on the new board which felt horribly underfinned. Second, slightly dodgy waves with four blokes. I had gone back to the shop and swapped the fins - Yahoo Dunsborough has awesome customer service - and the board felt much drivier and positive. I may go bigger again or try it as a quad. It still feels like it could handle more fin.

Had some fun waves heading out at lunch time on the falling tide. Fun clean waist to chest waves on the log. Unfortunately any attemp to cross step was like hitting the eject button, but I was able to shuffle up for a few rides up on the nose. Loving the log, the 666 doesn't seem to have a place in the quiver anymore except for flatwater paddling.

Sold the Gravy, thinking of selling the 666...Dreaming of right hand waves for a change & warm weather. Not to say Ted's left would not be awesome fun, it would
