I just couldn't bring myself to do it today. had a 12.6 surf at 6 and that was it

everywhere was just so small and if there was anything it was crowded.

middle of winter and it packed- I blame good wetsuits.

saving grace was a pretty good dw er from snaps to alley- lots of glides, multi links and UNCROWDED

hopefully tomorrow

Sorry to hear that agnak. It was pretty good the couple of spots I saw. Surfed 4-5 foot glassy, slightly lumpy winter waves. The sunshine was awesome.

Small crowded alley on mac green 9.3 207.

Fess up time. Im giving mac my log to trade for his new boards and getting his 9.6 207.

The mct nose rider is very good but Im struggling to transfer from sb to it and back again.

To different. Too flat and no edges.

Takes too long to adjust each time.

Mct evo 2 with the 07 rocker I can nose ride etc and jump straight back on a 5.10.

Today would have been good with that extra length and volume

Afternoon low tide alley on the bobsledquad.

3 quick but good waves . The last one a sucked out bottom drop.

Didnt even get my hair wet.

Bsq is still killing chrispy. And you said at the start how can you tell its a good board by 2 surfs

Now the nose rider is all but gone jumping from say a 9.3 to 5.19 to a 7 fter is easy

Very small over here still - lazy 2-3 with far too many kooks with no etiquette for my liking. Thems the breaks though. Still some good sessions been had just not the normal Indo perfection of recent months. Not complaining though as 2 good surfs a day is fine by me.

Nr is a good board but its screwing my other boards so im punting nose riding boards altogether.

The wombat- guys are getting off on that board.nano ted loves etc.

Yeah I like boards . I like changing them too. No denying.

Still I reckon most boards are pretty good these days. Bsq suits so many wave types nothing comes close to what that board can do.

I like mct long boards and I like mr boards.

its all good
btw what have you got these days

Surfed some super clean and super small point waves....was sorta fun.

Then took a long walk with a amazing girl...while scouting for some banks...

These peeps didn't have a good day at the beach.....was even funnier watching the whole debacle unfold

Been paddling the river for the last couple of days . The swell is very south and so is the wind but it looks like its going to be north winds tomorrow so I'll be out there .

Pup there were 6 of them driving along, and then this genius thought he would find a better way. Once bogged he preceded to floor it for 5 minutes and completely bury it.

They must have been trying really hard to bog one of those, and gunning it is never a good option.

We used to spend a lot of time in the sand with old VW beetles, standard bodies, Baja bugs, and glass bodied beach buggies and we got pretty good at getting out of bogs.

One trick was to actually take the valve stem out of the tire so it would completely bag out the side walls.

Another good trick was to gently put it in forward or reverse to see if the car would move in either direction, even if it moved just a few mm, we were pretty sure we could get out of the bog just by going forward and reverse as often, and as gently as we could, eventually you would make a nice hard pad about a metre or so long, then you would gun it in reverse or forward and out she'd come.

The one thing we knew we should never do, is gun it once we had lost all forward momentum, all you did was dig a deeper grave for yourself.

But then again, they are cops aren't they?
