I read an article with Ray Gleave years ago and he reckoned Mopping was the best way to practice drop knee turns..

Depends on what source i listen to , i mised out on fun 3 footers. Or it was tpo straight. By the time i got in it was slightly onshore head high and the waves were yellow with sand drawing off the bank....

I got one wave ,survived ,paddled back out and had swim. Water is delicious, in fact tbe whole day is.....

A few becks and fire the new kamodo up for my new friend buttercup from tasmania. Cheers to tbe fine people from cape grim

On day shift all week this week with only Thursday off. There is a nice head high south swell here and hardly any wind . I hope it's good on Thursday

Rides all the way to the sand. Fitness still a massive struggle which takes the fun out of it a bit on those 200 metre paddle backs

Went out and got some nice waist to chest high waves with the odd bigger set. Clean and offshore and not too many out. One guy I knew was out on a red, black and white McT just like Mac's. I asked him if he'd bought it up in QLD but he had ordered it but wasn't overly happy with it for some reason. Maybe it was the wrong board for him but it did look nice.

I just flew over your lovely stretch of coast SMH and conditions looked like those nice early autum days. Jeepers it's warm in Sydney compared to Tassie

Good size head & 1/2 chunks coming through today...chunky being the word, it would have sucky peaks running through fat sections & more sucky sections all the way down to the next break. Was funny coz when I looked there must have been a bit of a lull & I thought about taking the LB out. Lucky I'm on a mission to get paddle fit atm & took the new board out or I would have had my azz handed to me. New board was perfect for linking up through the fat sections. Good fun
