Almost forgot how good it is over here. Had more good waves in the last 3 days than the last 4 months at home. Knackered. And it's not even been that good by Indo standards and we have a kick in the swell tom. Fitness is coming back with 2.5-3hr sessions now the norm. Stoked. Might also have something to do with travelling with the lady - bitang volumes are right down! Macs driver Roger has been great as always. Highly recommend him if you over this way. Hope you all getting some.

Score I am counting the days bro....hope you have your local card validated by the time I arrive so I can score some empty pits..

My hand is on the pulse Tux. Been playing crowd avoidance and it's paid off big time. We will get some good pits when you get here if you need a driver to pick you and your family up etc give Roger an SMS and he will get you from the airport etc. Can PM you his number if you like.

I'm amazed snapper, rainbow and green are surf able and so clean, not many out maybe due to the big shark swimming around in rainbow yesterday.

Nano is performing well but I am now well aware of its limitations - especially when it's super hollow and a bit of size - you really feel the tail drifting. Blown a few bottom turns because I think the board could not handle the speed / pushing too much water. Probably in all fairness though have been surfing it in conditions very diff to what I brought it for so no real complaints. It's been an unreal board on 90-95% of my waves too date so hard to argue with it. On sessions when I ummed and Ahhhed about taking out the bigger board I am glad I did not.

siiiiiccck waves all day. north coast first up was so so...but then macs home break late this arvo was better fun. got a wide one from snaps after watching every wave being destroyed and unable to snag one. ended up in front of the rocks and got a screamer through to maccas..then drifted down to kirra. did not get many but the few I got were ****ing amazing, pulled into one that I was sure would just close out....nup the best waves I have scored in ......just a long long pit.

Will try and get some pics tom but lets just say that today was one of the days of days. Epic 4ft with a few bigger ones this morning with 5 others at an insane left on the lower tide and then spent the arvo with a few more crew at my fav wave of all time. Insane. Just amazing. Swell looks good for the next week as well. Nice to be a long way from Bali on what used to be a pretty quiet spot in the off season but its no longer like that. No complaints though.

Better than my Dawny today Ted - despite the graphs not much swell apart from the odd chest high & it seemed more like a Northerly on it too , only a 3 to 4/10 sadly
