Went in straight after work this morning - very close to the best day of our spring .... so damned clean not a production line by any means but shoulder to head on some of them ... I have to say here that the only downside was some dangerous "blow-in" surfers ... I saw some totally irresponsible acts and very very close calls from certain usual culprits - it makes you understand surf aggro and why it occurs you know.

All in all - a good morning as I found a crowd free slot and used it to my advantage for about 2 hours - wicked thanks Huey

Thanks for a good surf & coffee to Mac & Chrispy today. What looked like being a non-wet turned into a fun session.

Small waves but only around knee high. Getting the cross stepping going on the 666 and getting up on the nose as well. Thought it would be like riding a bike after that big layoff but it took a while to get it back. Fun little waves almost ruined by some goose who took exception to me being out there . Funny thing was that after over 20 years of surfing the place today was the first time I'd ever seen him. He was a

Well it was more of a case of "where did I get blown away today" ..... geez did that Southerly kick in & the tide was about as low as I've seen it - 0.28m reefs totally exposed , surreal really .... got a couple but slave labour

was good getting back in the water today after a very lean spring, summer's here and swell is here.
started off today with no leggie trying hard not to fall and swim for it.
point being keep it simple stupid ...loved it ..only had i swim
what no leggie... i was the only one on the beach.

You need a wind sport Pup. Windsurfing/kiting your local is fun and the downwind 666ing is world class along that stretch
There is a race from the cut to Singleton tomorrow, you should have gander

Fair enough. A wind sport keeps you sane over summer. Either that or come Mtb riding with
me and Hilly. Some great tracks 20 mins from Mandurah
