Surfed twice today...just a little South to my local. Was fun coz there was no one out on a Saturday & kinda a novelty to bail out close to the beach & not havta worry about the usual shallow reef due to mass sand build up.....might have a buyer for my 666 & currently bidding on a new fish, with plans for another longboard. Either a log or a shorter/narrower 666 depending on whats going, probably another 666 & a log later when the missus gets over me getting 2 new boards

Had a nice early morning surf today - nice to be able to hit the water before 6am once more. Not a patch on yesterday but still scored a few fun ones. We now have a howling SW wind so it looks like that might be it for the day for me. Can hardly see the lake across the road given the squalls coming in. Looks like I am into the garage to have a play.

Got a half decent surf in with Mick - good to catch up with some of the local crew during & afterwards ..... then it was off for a spinach & fetta sausage roll plus one Capuccino no sugar on the way back home ..... caper completed

Drove a little north of home to a long right hand point, absolute bloody heaven....4ft loooooong walls. take off just inside the point and if you got it right, the wall just got bigger and rode all the way to the beach break......run back 1/2 way and jump back in...farkin awesome
Started on the LB and stayed on it.., best surf this year.
My son came as well and score some fab waves (SB and L/board)...both fully stoked, frothed and totally stuffed after 3hrs in the water.

2 cracks today - this morning it was hard to find a spot that was handling the swell - the open spots were a bit to big and unruly with morning sickness whilst the sheltered / protected spots did not have enough. I surfed one beach this morning in less than ideal conditions but still fun whilst this arvo I went to the northern end of one of fav spots - a good walk in (you know this spot ob as we surfed here last time you stopped by) and got a few belters and a few beltings - lots of water moving around and lots of paddling. I have a feeling tom morning will be all time and probably will not sleep tonight due to my excitement Hope you all getting some.

As the day dawned it promised so much yet did not deliver as much as expectations. Still some lovely 4ft A-frmaes coming through - clean and glassy, but the swell is still a bit mixed up and breaking all over the place with some long lulls. Great fun though - a 6.5/10 morning
