Its zoo small here today that the only hope I have of catching a wave would be using LL's new but old Sic board

3-4 foot right...very strong offshore making for some tasty barrel sections where it usually clamps...did I mention it was me and one other bloke in the water

Filth day, much cleaner than I was expecting & head & a 1/2. Very surprised I was only surfing with only a few other people & had the inside bubble to myself. AM2's are definately much better than the Solus fins on the new board. But I can still slide the tail out pretty easy, wondering if I can find some even bigger fins

Been sent some sic pics from mates over West yesterday - looks like it was awesome. Hope u had fun fellas. Love to share them but those secret spots are well protected with me Still flat as a pancake here. The ocean looks the same as the lake in front of my house. On a train to the big smoke - so I am not missing much thank god. Next week will be a different story though

Huge black ones.

I got a set a few weeks ago and they look huge compared to other fins.

Jeepers - might as well move to the South Island if that's the case. On the train heading home. Stoked. Week from hell over. Now I just need some of that south swell we are expecting to arrive earlier than it should. That would be great. Can not recall if being this flat n unsurfable fior this long - fir a very very long time - especially at this time of the year. It sucks.

It would have been BIG down there yesterday & today would have been good too. Unfortunately I couldn't get down this morning, had to deal with some new house issues like my new retaining wall built on top of a sewage access pipe that was placed differently to plan

What board are you using it on mate?

I'm trying them on a 6'2 HS psychedelic germ. Doesn't have a quad option & feels like it could do with just a tad more spring off the bottom in overhead conditions.

I hear ya LL - we had an apparent temp of 3.9 this morning with the breeze. Last night I was biking home from a mates place after a few beers and it was so bloody cold - I said to the lady when I got home that it was the coldest I had felt for several years.
