+1 greenie
Yals Tuesday night when the wind swung I paddled out solo and got a couple of really nice ones. There was a massive bait ball, birds circling, bigger "fish" hitting it etc near take off zone which had me wondering if that was the reason no one was out
But I couldn't head in without taking advantage
Seas well and truly alive right now!
SSE making a mess of what could have been an ok wave at LBB. Lots of cars on the beach, but not too many people out. There were a couple of short chest-shoulder high walls if you were in the right place at the right time... but it got more inconsistent as the morning passed. Oh, and there was a bit of weed around also. 4.5/10

SH was good, 6.5 was good until 11ish.
Waiting until Monday....
What's on Monday, more shin high close outs?
Better to be positive than negative stu
I'm looking forward to Friday

Except the winds are rubbish for anywhere except the bays and points.
Surfed a southern left hand point yesterday.
A bit fat, a bit slow and full of clowns who really should be playing golf :/

At least it will cut up the banks a bit

Going to take a bit more than a 24 hour blow to break up the amount of sand around methinks.
Nice waves today. Stand up barrel with the wind howling and flaring the barrel open. Another head dip, and another one I didn't make it out of but got good travel time in. Fun fun fun. At again this arvo.
Had a sick little beachie peak to myself Sunday morning DS. Plenty of crew a few hundred metres up but no takers where I was. Lots f big salmon out there which I reckon has thinned the crowds
Had a solid week away and got some absolute drainers.
Got one normally busy spot entirely to myself one of the days and the waves were solid...couldn't help but wonder if there had been a shark sighting given the salmon running and the empty line up.
Worth the risk.
No surf today - too stuffed to surf after three surfs the previous two days.
Im glad I had to work today lol
Were i was down south was just cold and windy. Managed one day of grovelling with the kids in amazing conditions all be it small. But nothing to write home about..

Says no one ever
Had a great little session before work, talked a couple of others into the pre dawn paddle out and enjoyed a few glassy little sliders off Point Packed before the grom army invaded!
could be a wave on the weekend
Argh and my son has his birthday weekend plans happening this week..
Still holding my breathe though..

You won't be missed, with the masses waxing their boards as we speak.

Its been a while, can you tell me what the wax thing is all about again
Loading boards hoping tomorrow might be a start
I am worried I won't see the duration. It starts tomorrow and goes for the next five days for me and I am not sure I can manage five days in a row.
It's a quality problem though.
Had a good chuckle watching a metro beachie today. Straighthanders as far as the eye could see and the rise in swell catching a few inexperienced chaps off guard.
The ding repair guys should expect a few calls tomorrow...
Some big bombs Trigg to Scarbs...sadly most are very straight with nowhere to go except the TOAD barrell. Couple of guys scoring some nice set waves at the busiest end of that stretch, but having to play dodgems thru the inside.
Yeah I got in at the point early today and was in long enough that I drifted almost down to the superbank for a long walk back. Some really good waves to be had for those lucky enough to be in the right spot...for the rest of us, it was rail drops and punishingly shallow water.
For the few decent ones I got it was only a few turns before some derro booger got in the way.
