It was only 6. OK, maybe 6 1/4.

At dusk Buster came out for 10 waves in 10 minutes. Same bank, opposite end.

Had a glorious arvo in the sunshine, Saturday arvo, very enjoyable after nearly 4 weeks out..
Sharing waves with one other guy for about an hour, before it turned off, just after a few others joined us

Same... very disappointing. Home to sort out all the household crap for the upcoming bulk rubbish collection
Fingers crossed for tomorrow - although the swell is dropping fast.

dunno where you guys were looking, i had a joy session. didn't have very high expectations, found a dozen or so dredging sandy nuggets at a well known spot.

Moving to Fiji in a couple of months for work.

Might finally get a decent surf in for once

Interesting two days of surf this weekend, secret spot x that many others seem to know about, was pumping on Saturday but very iffy, quite gnarly, Farkn insane, too full, too fat, too closeoute, too fast, too slow too backwashy, wow that was the best wave I've got this winter, too shizen........all in one 5 wave 2 and and a 1/2 hr session...then early Sunday swell dropped out backwash and rips kicked in but had great fun on the Potato...but from the beach it looked so super clean!!! El Niño me off

Had a sneaky 45min at a northern reefy today. Got 5 or 6 absolute little gems - chest to shoulder high peeling fast all the way through to the inside rocks...
Surfed the same place yesterday about 3hrs later in the day and although the swell was a lot bigger, I just struggled catch my quota...
Some days you are on, and some you are not!!
Lately I seem to have been in the NOT camp for a long while

Quite disappointing. Big N'ly drift and strong rips at Trigg 2nd. Some young blokes scoring fast little drainers off the rip, but for the most part it was very straight and too fast. Scored one nice fast shoulder high RH'er that allowed three turns and a floater to finish - other than that, the rest closed out after 10-20m. 4/10.

True. Few keepers to be had. At least I didn't snap a board.

4 metre swell with a light offshore, surely someone scored! I did see some 1-2 footers on the beaches at sunrise this morning but there were not many out.

^^^^
I drove up the Northern end of the metro coast. Too much weed and too many big board-snapper close-outs... A couple of novelty breaks were working - one was breaking the biggest I have seen it in ages, but there was plenty of reef sticking out of the water and some SUP kooks losing their boards every second wave - the other was only waist to chest, but not enough water in front of it... TBH, I did not bother to check Trigg or Scarbs as I figured they would be out of control with the amount of white water on the outside reefs.

Mate surfed Gravis/Grabbers and said it was rocky with a fair rip running...

It was a bit like that GPA and only getting worse as the tide dropped.

Looks like fun smicko, glad you scored and good to see some picks too.

Oh, that 1-2 foot I saw this morning was the backwash.

NB: Is that MF in the background of the bottom pick beating up another shark? He better be careful. the shark huggers will be all over it....

Got 3 good ones straight up at Secret Spot X metro thinking how good is this gonna be, didn't get cleaned up on the shallow bank on the way back out from each wave......then 10mins later it all went to poo, the rip went from 20m wide to about 200m water charging out and the shapely waves completely disappeared and turned into 400m long straight as dumping pieces of nard.......very disappointed

oh oh well solo mission to Slims Baliwaves on Wednesday.....check the website you may catch a glimpse of mocha and his dayglo Katana hopefully standing on it not free falling outta the lip!!! Yeeeeewwwww Bali time
