Took the SUp out with kids at local point as surf was down and had a play on tinny waves, seriously in the waves its so much harder than it looks. Ended up picking up and rushing home for a board change and back into it until dark.

Ended up with about 12 other lidders but with a small Northerly push only here and there i was able to dominate over them for once and got a heap of fun little waves. Maybe they were scared I'd go get the SUp back out

Spent all morning skate boarding with kids, playing on balance board and today i am feeling like i spent the day wrestling the hulk

MMMmmmm, looks like JB has gone to the darkside [}:)]

Dark side, not a bin lid Nah all just a bit of fun..

Worst part was my surf ended up in supper shallow so would step of mostly and now my feet feel like i can hardly walk, they have got worse as the day wears on..

I think the hand shake is a front for the fact that it takes two of you to hold that thing up. That thing just about dwarfs the shark in the Jaws thread.

There's probably a correlation why sharks take out SB'ers and lidders instead of SUP'ers and LB'ers

Today.

Glassy and big!

They're all different waves, the camera was having trouble focusing because it was so glassy. The first one was from in the water, the others from the boat.

Yes, sometimes like today. I did the early and it was really sharky out there. I've given up trying to talk my mates into it, I just go on my own now.

Glassy chest high close-outs at Trigg 2nd/3rds... no one getting too far on any of them... very straight. Point Packed was ridiculous...

Metts / Toms and other northern breaks all very small.

Decided not to bother...

Thanks for the offer Mitts

That was a rare day out there, usually there's some wind that far out but like I said earlier it was very shifty. There has been plenty of times that I've made the trip and it's just been wrong and not even surfable.

Not complaining at all. You guys just get to see the best of it!

Should be careful surfing from a boat by self I've been injured before and needed help to get back in boat

^^^^ valid point for sure. I am definitely more cautious about which waves I catch when I'm on my own. Also as I get older the beatings seem to hurt more!

Trigg had some good waves this morning, chest high peaks and a light offshore. Nearly no one out which was a surprise.
